Join us this July for the Run to Remember 5K, a meaningful run and walk held in honor of our nation’s Veterans.
This event is more than a race. It is a chance to come together as a community to
remember those who served, honor their sacrifice, and raise awareness of Missouri’s National Veterans Memorial. Every step taken helps ensure more Veterans know about our Memorial and feel welcome to visit, reflect, and connect.
Whether you run, jog, or walk, the Run to Remember 5K is open to all ages and fitness levels. Participants are encouraged to run in honor or in memory of a Veteran who has touched their life.
Proceeds from the event support the mission of Missouri’s National Veterans Memorial, helping us remain a place of honor, remembrance, and education for generations to come.
Come run with purpose. Come run with gratitude.
Join us for the Run to Remember 5K.

THE MISSION.
Greetings from Dr. Dora Washington, Founder and Executive Director of Tower of Hope Ministries.
On behalf of our organization and our Race Team, thank you for your interest in
participating in our annual Hope 4 Healing event!
The mission for the Hope 4 Healing event is to raise funds and awareness of the need for healing from childhood trauma.
The vision of Tower of Hope Ministries is to transform people from trauma survivors into healed overcomers.
The funds raised will be used to help with our Build the Tower Campaign. This vital effort will help us secure a permanent meeting space for events, training, and community workshops. The funds will also be used for operating expenses, technology upgrades, scholarships for our Academy program, and other pressing needs.
THE MINISTRY.
Tower of Hope Ministries is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We help people triumph gloriously over trauma through research knowledge and faith-based strategies.
Since 2017, we have helped men and women conquer the long-term effects of childhood trauma by empowering them with H.O.P.E. (Heal. Overcome. Persevere. Educate.)
We accomplish this through group workshops, coaching, online courses, and community outreach.
One of the elements we incorporate in the healing process is physical exercise. Physical activity can help to reverse the physical, mental, and emotional effects of trauma.
THE MESSAGE.
There are numerous testimonies of how participants have found healing, hope, and help because of our program.
One person said, "I learned that my brain changed because of the trauma I experienced." Another remarked, "Every day brings more freedom!"
We believe this event will be a beacon to the world to let people know that there is hope! No matter how damaging the effects of trauma, it can be reversed.
As with a race, healing comes one step at a time!

The Market Mile is a community-based, one-mile walk/run that invites you to give back and have fun doing it by joining us at our great after-party in Union Station!
Beyond the promise of sunny summer
weather, a one-mile course straight down Market Street, the “take it at your own pace” vibes and a buzzing after-party at Union Station, the Market Mile is different because it’s powering up the nonprofits who work tirelessly on the future of our city.
The Market Mile serves St. Louis through core areas of need: accessible green spaces, safe housing, public safety, and youth programs. We’ve carefully selected Market Mile Race Beneficiaries that you may choose to support when you register.
We raised over $16,000 for nonprofits in 2024 and 2025!
During our inaugural event in 2024, we are proud to report that we raised $1,778 for Peter and Paul Community Services, $1,693 for Great Rivers Greenway, and $2,043 for Backstoppers. In 2025, we raised $3,086.83 for Great Rivers Greenway, $7286.36 for Peter and Paul Community Services, $2662.89 for BackStoppers, and $2,843.99 for Boys and Girls Club!
Our beneficiaries fulfill core areas of need in St. Louis: accessible green spaces, safe housing, public safety, & youth programs.
