Event Overview
Join us for the ICC Challenge Championship Race Weekend, August 6–9, 2026 — a full weekend of mountain bike racing, community events, demos, food, camping, and support for the next generation of riders.
The ICC Challenge is a USA Cycling sanctioned event featuring Missouri State Championship racing in XCC Short Track, XCM Marathon, and XCO Cross Country. Proceeds benefit South Side XC Devo, a non-profit youth mountain bike development program helping create more racing opportunities for Missouri off-road cyclists.
This weekend is built for more than elite racers. Whether you are racing for a State Championship jersey, building a relay team, bringing your kids, joining the community night ride, checking out bike demos, or just coming to support the MTB community, there is a way for everyone to participate.

Category merges may occur if there are fewer than 10 registered riders in a category.
Team Short Track Relay
The Team Relay is a fun, high-energy, social event designed for friends, teammates, coaches, families, and riders who want to be part of the weekend in a less traditional race format.
Teams will complete four 1-mile short track laps using a one-plate swap system. Transitions must happen in the designated stop-and-swap grid.
Team formats may include 2–4 riders depending on category. Teams with fewer than four riders must follow the relay director’s instructions and may not complete laps consecutively.
Teams can compete for:
-
Fastest team
-
Best team name

Biggest energy
Kids Skills Challenge Course
The Kids Skills Challenge is designed for younger riders and future mountain bikers.
For $10, kids can complete up to 5 laps on age-appropriate skills courses:

Riders can participate for fun, race the clock, or try to improve their own time each lap. Prizes and gifts will be available for participants.
