Lake Rebecca Triathlon is located just 30 miles west of downtown Minneapolis at Lake Rebecca Park Reserve in Rockford, MN. Lake Rebecca is part of the Three Rivers Park District, and provides a beautiful backdrop for a great day of racing and spectating. There are many reasons why Lake Rebecca has continued to be such a popular destination for a triathlon: a clear, clean non-motorboat lake, low traffic county roads with wide shoulders, a beautiful run in the shade of mature trees, parking close to transition and lots of room to roam for spectators and families.
All abilities are welcome to join us, and we look forward to seeing you at Lake Rebecca Triathlon in July!
Please note: Headphones are not permitted on any part of the course. This is a safety concern for all involved in the situation.

First Responders "Bring in the Backup" Triathlon represents all branches of the Military, Firefighters, Nurses, EMS, Dispatchers, Corrections, and Law Enforcement. The First Responders will lead off the race, followed by all other race participants as 'backup' to support the First Responders. We look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday, July 25th, 2026 at Northwood, Iowa (Swensrud Park) Swimming Pool for this patriotic themed racing event. You do not have to be a First Responder to participate in the race.
The First Responders Triathlon welcomes athletes of all abilities. The goal is to get active and have a good time at a fun event. The Triathlon Race is a Sprint Distance Triathlon consisting of 150 meter swim, 10.4 mile bike ride, and a 5k run. The swim is held at the Northwood Pool. The bike course is on a public highway with rolling hills for most of the course. The 5k run is mostly flat, with one gradual hill.
**Athletes are able to compete in the triathlon as an individual or in a 2-3 person relay team. Duathlon is an individual event. Aquabike is an individual event. The Duathlon replaces the swim with a 1.5 mile run, followed by the same 10.4 mile bike ride and 5k run. Aquabike consists of a 250 meter swim and the 10.4 mile bike ride.
Proceeds raised from the triathlon will be donated to Worth County Sheriff's Office, Northwood Fire and Rescue Department and the Future First Responders Scholarship for students at Northwood-Kensett.
Also, there is an optional donation page through the signup process. This year we honor 2 First Responders families with a donation:

Jared Anez was a father, husband, local agriculture business owner, school board chairman, and an active member of the Willmar community who passed away unexpectedly in March of 2017. Jared was passionate about education, family, faith, and a healthy, active lifestyle. These values are demonstrated daily by Jared's wife, Kami, and their 6 children, Sam, Savannah, Harley, Jonas, Sullivan and Lawson and we are grateful for everything they bring to the Willmar community. We are honoring Jared's legacy and the Anez Family's commitment to education and community with this race series.
We are proud to celebrate Jared's legacy by funding scholarships from race proceeds for high school students pursuing post-secondary education in a STEM-related field. Last year, for the graduating class of 2025, the Jared Anez Memorial gave $11,000 to the Willmar High School and New London-Spicer High School Scholarship Programs! A total sum of $88,000 in scholarships has been given over the last eight years. We couldn't make this contribution to high school students each year without the donations from our community sponsors, donors, volunteers, and all of the participants who choose to run and toss with us! Thank you to all of you!
