Ready to level up your season?

Stop "surviving" the trails and start thriving on them! Whether you want to clear that stubborn rock garden, nail a steep climb, or finally feel in control during fast descents, our inclusive MTB clinic is for you.

Why Join Us?

· 1:5 Ratio: You get personalized attention from 5 pro coaches.

· All Skill Levels: We group you by ability (Beginner to Intermediate).

· Real Skills: We practice on the grass, then take it straight to the dirt.

The Coaches: Vikki, Lisa, Melissa, Jimmie, and Crystal are ready to help you unleash your full potential on two wheels.

Limit: 25 Riders

Must haves: Helmet, properly functioning mountain bike, and a "can-do" attitude! (Flat pedals = your best friend for this one).

We will cover some skills on the grassy areas and some skills will be covered on the trail.

Join us for the unofficial start of the summer at the Novi Memorial Day Run. The day’s festivities will include a 5K starting at 7:30 am, and a mile fun run starting at 8:30 am. A portion of the proceeds benefits the Novi Parks Foundation.

Pricing 5k Run/walk $34 until May 17 , then $39. $39 on race day (online registration only - no shirt).1 mile fun run is $24. $39 on race day (online registration only - no shirt). See information below on how you can save $5 on your entry fee and/or Run for FREE!

T-shirts are guaranteed with registration by May 1st.

Early packet pick-up

Tuesday May 19, Wednesday May 20, Friday May 22 from 8am-5pm at Novi Civic Center
Thursday May 21 from 8 am- 8pm at Novi Civic Center

Race day packet pickup will begin at 6:30 am

Race day schedule 5k run/walk 7:30 am, 1 mile 8:30 am. Following the run head on over to the Novi Civic Center area for the Memorial Day Parade.

Awards will be given to the Overall Male and Female winners as well as first place in each age group (male & female) 18 and under, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+

The race will be professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Results will be live at the race and available on this website after the race.

The Moovin’ Thru the Midway 5K Presented by Wells Fargo made its debut at the Michigan State Fair in 2019 and has been a fan favorite ever since! This one-of-a-kind race welcomes participants of all ages and abilities to experience an immersive and energetic course through the heart of the fairgrounds. Runners dash past highlights like the Carnival Midway, the animals and even inside vendor exhibits—bringing the full fair experience to life.

The race finishes in true fair style at the Entertainment Pavilion Beer Tent, where participants celebrate with medals, light refreshments, free race photos, and a sponsor-branded keepsake photo. Adults 21+ can toast their accomplishment with a complimentary beer, while everyone is welcome to enjoy the live music and festive vibes at the post-race celebration in the Beer Garden.

Our 5K is professionally chip timed, so every runner gets accurate, real-time results no guessing, no stopwatch needed. Whether you're chasing a personal record or just out to have fun, your time will be tracked with precision.

Awards will be given to the top three finishers in each category: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place Male and Female runners. Push your pace, race your best, and take home some well-earned bragging rights!

In 2020, the race expanded to include a virtual option, allowing participants to run or walk from home or a location of their choice. Virtual runners receive a mailed Race Kit with their official swag and can submit a photo to receive a branded keepsake image to share on social media. Plus, all virtual participants can upload their race photos directly to the results page.

Proceeds from the Moovin’ Thru the Midway 5K benefit our nonprofit partner, Military Families United—supporting those who serve and their loved ones.
