Celebrate Croswell Pioneer Days on the Black River for the Pioneer Paddle kayak race. Paddlers can choose between two distances: 1 mile out-and-back from Sanborn Road Bridge to Harrington Road Bridge and Back, or a 5K route from the Swinging Bridge to PL Graham Park and Back. Each race will have a competitive heat and a relaxed heat.

Lace up your shoes and join the excitement of the Dart for Art, an all-inclusive one-mile run/walk in the heart of downtown Ann Arbor. The race starts July 14th, 2026 at 6:00 PM. This year will feature a point to point race starting at Ingalls Mall and North University and finish on Liberty at Thompson St after a loop around The Diag and sprint down State St.
The finish line will be conveniently close to The Paint the Town Block pARTy which will follow the race from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM.
The Dart for Art – Ann Arbor Mile supports the Ann Arbor Street Fair, the Original, a 501c3 Non Profit organization. Your participation helps fund free community arts education programming.

Tri-Kids-Try Youth Triathlon – July 17-18
Nobody is too small to accomplish something BIG! Get ready to swim, bike, and run your way to celebration in a triathlon designed specifically for young athletes – Tri-Kids-Try Youth Triathlon, powered by Great Lakes Bay Orthodontics. Kids will build confidence and have fun in this youth triathlon as they swim, bike and run their way around and through Plymouth Park to reach the finish. Along the way, our race volunteers are there to help racers and cheer them on to the finish line where they will receive their TKT Finishers Medal!
Not sure about tackling a youth triathlon? No worries! Join us for a fun training experience at the Kids Triathlon Camp; July 13-17. Morning and afternoon sessions are available based on age. Ele's Race is an annual 5K Run/Walk that directly benefits Ele's Place - Capital Region, a healing center for grieving children, teens and young adults. It's a fun-filled family event that helps to raise funds and awareness for Ele's Place. Where can I pick up my packet? You can pick up your packet starting at 7:00 am on race day. Parking is free and close by in case you want to run back to your car to drop off or change into your t-shirt!
What time do the races start? The 2 mile, 5k, and 10k all begin at 8:30 am. The Kid's Fun Run begins when the other races have wrapped up, around 10 am.
Can I bring my stroller? What about my dog? We are stroller and furry-friend friendly! Bring your kiddos and your pup for a morning of family fun.
How far is the Kid's Fun Run? The Kid's Fun Run is about 400 yards. They get their own medals!

The LOC Credit Union 5k Color Run will take place on Saturday, July 18, 2026 during the Farmington Founders Festival. This 5k chip-timed fun run will give participants the opportunity to run through scenic Shiawassee Park and beautiful Downtown Farmington.
This race has something for everyone. If you are a competitive runner this will be an accurate 5k. There will be age group medals for awards along with medals for the Overall Male and Female winner. Positioned within the race route will be four color stations. If you wish to forego the color there will be enough room to breeze straight past them. The entry fee includes a t-shirt if signed up by July 5th, 2026. For those signing up after that date we cannot guarantee runner shirts, at that point they will be on a first come basis until they run out.
If you want to challenge yourself to run or walk a 5k but also have some fun (and COLOR!) along the way then this race is for you! Participants will receive a finisher's medal and there will be refreshments waiting for you at the end.

A traditional XC MTB race has returned to Stony Creek Metro park, and its Shelden Trails in Shelby Township, MI. Mashing up exciting machine built single track, an old school climb trail, and classic two track, an 8.5 mile lap is on tap for racers. Push hard and try to get that top step, beat your friends, or push yourself in your first mountain bike race on some of Southeast Michigan's favorite trails.
After the half-mile hole shot and prelude from the start line, the 8.5 mile lap -- split 60/40 between single and two track -- features six unique single and two track sections per lap, perfect for testing your handling and having fun while offering wide-open, fast, safe areas to pass. Steady climbs, flowing descents, and lots of fun and excitement await!
All post race proceeds donated to the House of Promise (Lansing, MI) for human trafficking victim rehabilitation.

Join THE WATERMOO event director and Ann Arbor Velo Club members for a pre-ride of the lower half of the course before race day! All are welcome, even if you have not registered for THE WATERMOO.
The route is about 80 miles, and will cover some of the course's more challenging hills. There are two pace group options. Both rides are no-drop and will include bathroom and food stops if needed. Participants are expected to have the route and everything they need to sustain themselves, including tools, hydration, and food.

Half Marathon Course
The point to point half marathon route will start in Millington taking runners on a scenic tour of this small Michigan town before jumping on the Southern Link Trailway. The trailway is paved and goes through beautiful wooded areas and farmland before crossing over the Flint River to finish at the quaint town of Columbiaville where runners will receive a well deserved Michigan welcome.
Half Marathon Shuttle
Shuttle service will be for half marathon runners and will start loading at 6:45 am in front of the Columbiaville Community Center. The final shuttle will depart by 7:45 am. The shuttle busses will depart when they are full. If you want to guarantee a timely arrival at the start area do not wait until 7:45 am. There will be a coffee truck with coffee and other goodies for purchase, music and bathrooms at the start area. We will have a gear drop as well.
5K Course
The 5K course will start and finish at the Columbiaville Community Center. This will be an out and back on the Southern Link Trailway. Athletes will park in one of the designated parking areas in town, pick up packets and start/finish all in one central location.
Pace
Runners of all abilities are welcome to join in the half marathon. OFFICIAL COURSE CLOSURE AT 18 MINUTE PER MILE PACE: Half marathon runners and relay runners must be able to complete each mile in a 18-minute (sub 4 Hour) pace or faster.

Millington Library, 8530 Depot St, Millington, MI 48746. There will be porta johns available in the start area along with music to get you grooving and ready to run!
Finish location for Half Marathon and 5K
Columbiaville Community Center, 4620 Water St, Columbiaville, MI 48421. The community center sits at the end of the Trailway and right on the water, a perfect ending to what is sure to be a perfect morning!

This is a "cupless" event. What does that mean?
Runners will need to carry a personal hydration pack and/or purchase a Hydrapak Speedcup during registration at the course aid stations. Personal hydration packs and bottles can be refilled with either water or hydration mix at the aid stations.
There will be NO single use cups available. We are trying to eliminate excess trash at our event. We thank you for your cooperation and planning to help achieve this goal.

Pick either the hardest 5k in Michigan (maybe the country?) or pick the one that may be the most fun. Both races are part of July's Ode to Laz weekend festival and take advantage of some of the best hiking trails in Michigan at Holly Recreation Area, a jewel of the state park system. The Stairway to Heaven 5k: This is the easy one. 9:30 am start. Register between 8-8:45 please at the Overlook Picnic area. Cheer our backyard runners as they pass you on their 25th hour You'll run on the Wilderness trail on a rolling out and back course and finish with one loop down and up the famous Stairway to Heaven. The Stairway to Hell 5k: This is the beast - 11:30 am start. Register 8-10:45 am please at the Overlook Picnic area. Our backyard ultra runners run this stairway every hour during their day loops. They'll be in their 27th hour of running by the time they pass by you before your start. Feel free to call them sissies, cause you'll be doing the Ode to Laz Loop's famous Stairway to Heaven 12 times in a row for your 5k, without the hour rest in between!!! You'll do a total of about 1100 feet of vertical. Get your stair legs ready!!! A course map? HA! We're not silly enough to do this 12 times just to make a map. Feel free to look at the Stairway to Heaven 5k map, it has the stairs at the end.
