The 2026 Rev3 Nanticoke River events are THE kickoff to the 2026 Triathlon season at Rev3Tri. Join us for a .5 mile swim, 15.2 mile bike and 3.1 mile run on Sunday, May 3rd, 2026.
Rev3 Nanticoke River starts and ends at Cedar Hill Marina in Bivalve, MD along the eastern bank of the Nanticoke River. The village, Bivalve, is named for the oyster that was once a mainstay for local watermen working the river. Just 20 minutes from Salisbury, MD, this village is an ideal location for our events as it reminds us all of quiet times and gives participants the opportunity to tour through 'the land of pleasant living.'

The Ben Layton 5K is organized to help raise money for Ben's Red Swings and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, a blood cancer that Ben had.
The 5k and fun walk start outside Ben's Red Swings, go through the zoo and end at Ben's Red Swings. We are also continuing to offer a virtual option 5k this year for people who are not able to join us in person.
Custom designed socks are guaranteed to the first 150 entrants. Raffle prizes will be awarded on race day.
The race will be held rain or shine!

This 5K trail race will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2027 at the Wicomico Ranger Station on Sixty Foot Road in Parsonsburg, MD. The race will start at 9:00 AM The race will run through forested trails in the beautiful Wicomico Demonstration Forest. Come and check out this beautiful new location. This event will be our 2nd annual 5K that has run on this trail and we are excited to host this event! Our first 5K was amazing and we had wonderful feedback from our participants!

$25 AMAZON GIFT CARDS TO THIRD PLACE MALE AND FEMALE
All funds raised will go directly to our program participants. 4STEPS provides low cost and scholarship therapeutic riding services to our special needs community. Through sensory integration and motor skill motivation on horseback we are able to help individuals enhance their dynamic posture, muscle tone, socialization, mobility, cognitive abilities, and an overall improved quality of life. We have witnessed the joy and healing that our horses bring to our participants. It truly is a wonderful program.
4STEPS inclusiveness has meant reaching out to minorities, rural communities, families with children with special needs, those in group homes and residential communities -- to anyone who may be out of the mainstream. Volunteers will tell you that working with exceptional participants, who courageously face ongoing physical, emotional, social and/or cognitive challenges enriches their own lives. Horse Power program develops youth to be respectful and comfortable working alongside peers with differences and diverse abilities and teaches to appreciate them as valuable, vital community members. In turn, youth with special needs develop leadership skills and build authentic community connections while developing their horsemanship skills. It's a WIN-WIN!
