Salisbury Bible Fellowship (1500 Court Plaza Ln) has again kindly provided their support and their facility for the race start and finish. They are located right on the course and are committing to making race day a day of service for their church!

Timothy Kennard, 48 years old, and father of a 7-year-old son, passed away on March 11, 2004. He fought a courageous battle against kidney cancer. Tim is missed by his family and fellow running friends. This run/walk is in his honor, with proceeds going, as Tim requested, to help children and animals. This year the proceeds will help Team 360, which helps people of different abilities train and participate in mainstream athletic events; Coalition of Caring, a fund for our animal friends; and the Eastern Shore Running Club Scholarship Fund.

- TO BENEFIT: This run/walk is in his honor, with proceeds going, as Tim requested, to help children and animals. This year the proceeds will help the following:
- Team 360, which provides motivation and support to people of different abilities, empowering and enabling them to train and participate in mainstream athletic events.
- Coalition of Caring, which helps our animal friends in need. by assisting with medical needs adoption, spay, and neuter costs, as well as by helping cover the cost of transporting homeless animals to rescues.
- Eastern Shore Running Club Scholarship Fund

- RACE COURSE: Beautiful course through the City of Salisbury, MD...USATF Certified
- RACE TIMING: Seashore Strider Event Production will chip time the event using the Chronotrack chip timing system.
- RACE AMENITIES: Long Sleeve Crew Sweatshirt- Unisex sizes (February 15th deadline for registrants to guarantee a Sweatshirt), a beautiful course, nice awards, great after-party post-celebration.
- PARKING: Plenty of parking in the start/finish area of Salisbury Bible Fellowship Church
- NEW 10 MILE TIME LIMIT...(2:30 Time Limit for Ten Miler)...15 MINUTES PER MILE PACE.
- The Race Committee has incorporated a two hour & thirty minute time limit for the 10 mile race. This time limit of 15 minute per mile is very reasonable for a running event. Please be mindful that the 10 miler is not a walk event and if you want to walk, please enter the 5k division. This decision was made to allow the safety of all 10 mile participants to be off the course in a reasonable and safe time limit.
- AWARDS: Custom awards will be presented to the male & female overall, master, and the top three finishers in the following 15 age groups for the 5k event and 13 age groups for the 10 mile event. No awards for the non-competitive 5k walk.

8 is great!!! 8 years of running the RunSBY Events! Come celebrate with us on Saturday, April 4th, 2026! Join us in 2026 for a flat and FAST marathon and half marathon course! Our BQ percentage is tremendous, so this could be your chance to qualify for a major!!

Our Marathon and Half Marathon courses share the same course for the first 10.8 miles before splitting off to finish out their courses. All marathon runners can even use this point as a bail-out, if they like, to complete the half marathon.

Our courses have a 16 min/mile pace requirement, so our MARATHON must be completed in 7 hours and our HALF MARATHON must be completed in 3 1/2 hours.

The Salisbury Zoo's annual Zoo Stampede 5K, sponsored by Vernon Powell Shoes, is set for Saturday, May 2nd, at 9 a.m. The race kicks off from the Salisbury Zoo's East Gate (across from the Elks Golf Club). The race will go through the Zoo and along the Salisbury City Park's greenway. The course is primarily along a crushed-stone path. This year's event is themed for the Monarch Butterfly in celebration of our involvement with the Monarch SAFE program (Saving Animals From Extinction). An educational community day celebrating our Monarch SAFE program with take place after the race. Let your imagination run wild and dress in your favorite animal costume! Runners with the most creative costume will receive a prize from our generous sponsors. 100% of proceeds go to support the Salisbury Zoo.

- eRACE THE STIGMA's mission is to provide mental health awareness, support, and education as well as direct help to families in crisis or organizations that help families/individuals. eRace the Stigma is partnering with the Wicomico Public Schools and The Wicomico Local Management Board to offer a 5k race during the 4th Annual Children's Mental Health Awareness Fair. eRace the Stigma is a 501C3 and proceeds from the race go to individuals in need of treatment, and/or organizations who provide education/awareness/treatment for mental health, illness, and/or addiction.
