The University of Maryland Center for Diabetes and Endocrinology-Midtown serves children and adults with diabetes in Baltimore City, the surrounding counties and the region. We offer the highest quality of care and service to assist people with diabetes in managing the disease and preventing complications. Annually, the Center for Diabetes and Endocrinology sees over 3,000 patients, including those with Type 1, Type 2, or gestational diabetes.
5K Run/Walk and the 1 Mile Fun Walk are $25.00 per person. Registration includes custom race bib and race medal.
Results will be available on-line immediately after the race, awards presented on site for overall and age groups

Please join us on our 4th Annual All Clubs Ladies Ride to shine a light on Heart Health. The cycling community in Maryland along with some of our sister clubs in surrounding areas have come together this year to do one all clubs ladies' ride to show solidarity across all the clubs. The theme for this year's ride will be Heart Health as heart disease kills more women than ALL forms of cancer combined and also kills more than 50,000 women of color annually. The event rolls rain or shine. We will be at Pavillion West.
In honor of Heart Health, we are asking all women to wear red.
Lunch will be provided and there will be Vegan and Vegetarian options available
Registration includes: Lunch, Rest-Stop Refreshments, T-shirt, and a charitable donation.
T-shirts will be available at registration pickup to all participants who register prior to August 13, 2026. After that date, t-shirt availability will be on a first come first serve basis based on what we have left.
There will be 2 ride distances: Approximately 33mile and 21mile
We want everyone to return close to the same time so we ask that you pick your route accordingly based on your skill level. There will be SAG provided for the both routes; however, SAG will be for bike malfunctions only. Please make sure your bike is in good working order prior to the ride. There will be bike mechanics on-site prior to the ride so if you are unsure of the condition of your bike, we encourage you to get it checked prior to the ride if you have not already done so prior to the day of the event. These mechanics will be available on a first come first serve basis and can not guarantee they can repair all bikes prior to the start of the ride. There are a few rollers and we want to make sure everyone rides and returns safely. You are responsible for having your own tire change supplies as SAG will be there to assist with tire changes and mechanical issues only. If you have not been riding your bike but still want to participate in the ride, please be on the lookout for clinics
that will be held prior to the event.

The District Heights Youth Development Foundation’s mission is to provide an organization that perpetuates improves and preserves the delivery of positive youth development services for youth residents of the City of District Heights and surrounding areas thereby, providing a continuum of services for children, youth, and families beyond therapeutic services at the bureau. Join us in helping our youth to thrive through continuous positive engagement!
Youth ages 12 and under with an adult paid registration may participate at no cost.
Join us for our 3rd annual Ride the Tide. This is the last leg of our Tour De South Jersey Series. The ride will start and end at Slack Tide Brewing . After the ride join us at the brewery for your complimentary beer and some post ride fun. We will have a food truck and live music. This will be a semi supported ride. We will have a marked route with signs and arrows to direct you. The route will also be available for you to download. We will also have several aide stations on course. Limited SAG support will also be available.
*We will have Gradient Mobile bike shop on site offering free tuneups.

Metric Century
A 62 mile ride that will take you from the brewery up through Woodbine and Belleplain State Forest and out to East Point Lighthouse and back.
Half Metric
A 32 mile ride up through Woodbine to Corbin City and then back to the brewery.
Fun Ride
This 15 mile ride is perfect if you aren't looking for a long ride but still want to come out and enjoy the festivities. The ride is mostly on the bike path and is an out back that will take you out past the Cape May Zoo before returning to the brewery.
This is not a timed event
Check in will start at 8:15 am for the Metric Century. Once you check in you can start . We ask everyone to be on the road by 9:00
Check for the Half will begin at 8:45 am. We ask everyone to be on the road by 9:30 am.

Standard Description
2026 HEAT IS HERE!General: Running + Beer + BBQ = Be there! 25k or 50k all trail, and a great after-party! The trails are technical and challenging, yet approachable because of our generous 25k cutoffs (we don't really have one). A great course to hike, run, or both. The after party will include craft beer, great food, and general fun! The 50k is a challenging attempt - you should honestly feel like a King when you finish it - but always able to downgrade to the 25k during the event. There will be directions regarding parking when you enter the Pickall Area of the park off of Johnnycake Rd. There is parking on-site and we have a good number of parking spots, however, they are not unlimited. Whenever possible, please plan to carpool with other athletes running the race, or if you have friends or family coming to watch, have them come with you to ensure we have enough spots for everyone, particularly our race participants.There are bathrooms that are adjacent to the pavilions where we will be hosting the race. Start Time:The 50k will start at 7am The 25k will start at 9amCourse: The course consists of rolling single track with two river crossings. There is a very short paved section through a parking area, but other than that, you will not touch pavement on this course. You will get 2000ft+ of vertical gain with a couple of healthy climbs. Some of the course is very technical and rocky, but there are other smooth and runnable sections. Variety is the name of the game on this course.There are 3 areas of the course that involve out-and-backs. The first involves the climb to Valley Overlook, a stunning view overlooking the valley. There you will pick up a wrist band (50k athletes will end up with 2 wrist bands). You need to show us the wrist band at the finish line to get credited with a finish, but then the bands are yours to keep! The other 2 out-and-backs or short sections that will take you to our aid stations on the back half of the course. These are mandatory out-and-backs, and our aid station volunteers will be checking off bib numbers to ensure completion. Here is a link to the course on Strava. 50k Info
Many will do the 25k, though the ultra 50k is growing more popular each year. The 50k consists of 2 loops of the 25k course. The aid stations will be the same and located at the same intervals. It is required to pick up a wrist band at the top of the Valley Overlook climb EACH LOOP, so you will have two wrist bands at the end to officially complete the course. We do not have very strict cutoffs for the event, however, we cannot let 50k competitors out for a second loop if they complete the first loop after 12pm NOON. So basically athletes are allotted 5 hours per loop. Athletes should be able to access the park starting at 6am. The race kicks off at 7am sharp.
Parking
As mentioned above, we have fairly ample, but not unlimited parking. The parking is adjacent to the pavilions and start/finish line. Please carpool if at all possible.

This is a community event staffed by volunteers; we welcome your good vibes and your stewardship of the park.
Please note that this event is 100% pack-in, pack-out.
Please bring your own container for beverages; we will not be supplying any cups at this event!

New Look, Same Great Classic Race
The Bone Run & Walk has been a South Jersey staple for decades and the CompleteCare Foundation is bringing you the best version yet! A family (and pet) friendly event to kick off Halloween featuring a costume contest, cash prizes, and more.
NEW Howl-O-Ween Dog Walk. This option is open to four-legged friends accompanied by 2 legged guides. Dogs must be leashed on no longer than a 6ft lead and able to maintain a calm disposition for the entirety of the event. A portion of the proceeds and donations for this event will support the South Jersey Regional Animal Shelter. Each finisher will receive a Howl-O-Ween pet swag item.
Awards in the 5K to the top 3 M/F overall and in age groups: 14 & under, 15-19, and 10 year AG up to 70+

This course was a hit last year, and we hope you’ll come join us this year to experience the beauty of Lake Artemesia! Race on a paved trail through the woods, around the outside of a runway, over creeks, and finally around the outskirts of Lake Artemesia. You never know what you’ll spot on this course!
The 8th Annual Wildwood Navy Seal Challenge Hosted by The Wildwood Beach Patrol will be held on in conjunction with Wildwood Beach Patrol and Even Kiel Racing his event will have several different types of individual and team events. Races will involve swimming, running, and an obstacle course. The obstacle course will consist of sand and water obstacles.
The swim is a 1 mile ocean swim.
The run is a 5k.
The run obstacles consist hills of sand to run over and water to run through.
For the team challenge you compete as a team. You will be all holding a pipe and completing the obstacles together.
PARKING: ALL Event Parking will be provided at Baker Avenue Parking Lot $ – There will be no Schellenger Avenue Access at this event.

Explore the scenic Glenroy Preserve trails at the fourth annual Kettle Cooker Five & Dime on October 4th, 2027 presented by Herr's Snacks and Altra Running, along with many local sponsors! It takes a village!
Glenroy Preserve is a beautiful outdoor playground that also happens to be rich in history. Some of the trails will take you through parts of the Underground Railroad, while even running past a tavern that was said to have served patrons during the Civil War.
Each distance is a loop. The 10 mile and 25K distances will follow the same course but then split around mile 9. ALL distances offer plenty of hills, creek crossings, mixed terrain, and plenty of on-course support.
Start time is 8:00am for ALL distances.

The 10th anniversary Hyattsville Zombie Run will be held in Driskell Park on October 18th! This fun, family-friendly event includes three races: a 1K Family Fun Run, a 1 Mile Kids Run, and a USATF certified 5K, all of which raise funds for our neighborhood schools! The Hyattsville Zombie Run is organized by volunteers of the Hyattsville Elementary School PTA.
