The Tri-Town Loop is a unique, self-guided community run designed to celebrate the historic beauty and architectural character of the neighborhoods we serve. Unlike a traditional race, this is a "run-on-your-own" challenge that lets you explore the scenic residential corridors of Belmont, Arlington, and Newton at your own pace.

The Route: We’ve mapped out a premier 5K course that bridges the gap between our local communities.

Start: Begin your run at the historic Beaver Brook Reservation in Belmont Hill.

The Bridge: Follow the route as it skirts the western edge of Arlington Heights, passing through the quiet, tree-lined streets of the Waverley area.

Finish: Complete your 3.1-mile journey at the Newton Centre Playground, right in the heart of one of Newton’s most vibrant villages.

    How to Participate:

Register: Sign up here to join the community leaderboard.

Run: Complete the loop anytime during "Race Week" February 16th through 21st.

Submit: Upload your time and a "Finish Line Photo" from Newton Centre to our results page!

We believe our neighborhoods are best seen on foot, where you can truly appreciate the craftsmanship of a well-maintained home. See you on the loop!

We’re thrilled to announce that on Sunday, May 3rd, 2026, the Belmont AAPI Run 5K & 2K will celebrate its 5th anniversary!

Runners and walkers of all ages from Belmont and neighboring communities are warmly invited to join this year’s race to celebrate and raise the voices and visibility of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) residents. The event is organized by the Belmont Chinese American Association (BCAA) and supported by generous contributions from local businesses.

Now in its fifth year, the Belmont AAPI Run has grown into a cherished local tradition—bringing together competitive athletes, first-time runners, families, volunteers, and local business owners for a morning of fitness, friendship, and community spirit. Since its 2022 debut, it has become one of Belmont’s three signature races, alongside the FBE Apple Run and the Becca Pizzi 5K.

Proceeds from the event support AAPI-focused programs hosted by BCAA and Belmont Celebrates AAPI Heritage (BCAH). This year, funds will also benefit the Belmont Media Center to help broadcast local public school events. Learn more about AAPI community initiatives at BCAA and BCAH.
