Saturday, August 8, 2026 • 7:00 AM
Washington Street Pavilion • Bay Saint Louis, MS
Join us for a one-of-a-kind coastal race in beautiful Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi—ranked in the Top 5 of America’s Best Coastal Small Towns by USA Today!
Now in its fourth year, the Bay Saint Louis Run+SUP combines a 5K run along the scenic beach sidewalk with a 1-mile stand-up paddleboard (SUP) race. This exciting event is hosted by the Bay Saint Louis Running Company and features chip timing, a continuous transition from run to paddle, and individual and relay categories.
Participants can compete solo or as part of a 2-person relay team—one teammate runs, the other paddles. The 5K is an out-and-back route on the beach sidewalk. The 1-mile paddle heads out, then south, parallel to the shoreline, before returning.

There will be the option to do 25 miles, 50 miles, 75 miles, or the full 100 miles. It just depends on how many "spokes" aka out and backs you want to ride!
Friendly reminder: you have to be a RWGPS club member- which is free to do- to be able to see and save the confirmed routes! Please click this link and you will automatically be added:
https://ridewithgps.com/organizations/14742-gulf-coast-bicycle-club/join
Full 100 miler (you choose how much of it you do that day!): https://ridewithgps.com/routes/49761779
Online registration will remain open until 7am on ride day/approximately 30 minutes prior to the start time. It's important to note that same day registration will only be available in a paperless fashion on Race Roster. Once registration is verified, we'll hand you a route profile sticker, meal voucher, and you'll be ready to roll!
Police traffic control and road markings/signage will both be present but limited, so all participants should download routes to their computers, plan to play the route from their RWGPS app on their phone, or carry printed turn-by-turn directions with them. For instructions on how to download routes to your Garmin, Wahoo, or other computer, see the Ride With GPS Help page at https://support.ridewithgps.com/hc/en-us/articles/4419007646235-Export-File-Formats and your computer’s documentation.
Important safety notice - all cyclists must wear a helmet and have a red tail light. The GCBC Board strongly recommends all riders have a white front light in accordance with Mississippi laws. As we all know, the weather can impede visability. Bike lights help ensure you can be seen by motorists and other cyclists. Safety first when riding on open roads.
The route profile stickers/providing navigational cues we are including for all participants regardless of when they register will also be very helpful to have. They are designed to be placed physically on your bike's frame, so you can look down and know when the next turn is coming without having to change your positioning on the bike. The route profile stickers have been confirmed for accuracy
We will have the one rest stop at Success Civic Center where we start and finish which we'll all be coming back to up to 3 times if you're doing the full 100 miler! Much easier to manage on this one! No worries as the rest stop will be fully stocked with food, drinks and of course, cold towels.
Be sure to stick around for one delicious meal. The Gulf Coast Brotherhood will be feeding everyone. Can't wait to see what's on the menu.
All rides are weather permitting, and at your own risk and liability.
Annual 5K Run/Walk to support individuals living with HIV/AIDS
The 2026 River Roux Olympic Triathlon will be held on October 10th!
River Roux features a 1.5K swim, 40K bike ride, and a 10K run in historic New Roads. The race has aquabike, duathlon, and relay divisions. It wraps up with awards and a finish fest in the greenspace across from transition.
RKF is a non-profit organization whose mission is to create and sustain active, fit and healthy children, families and communities through programming, advocacy and education, as an effort to fight childhood obesity through multisport events and camp scholarship and grant programs. RKF also gives back to local schools/clubs in the cities that welcome us there, such as Boy Scouts, parish and city programs, 4-H, local schools, and more.
Entries are limited to 300 competitors.
SWIM
The swim course will be a double loop clockwise swim that begins and ends at the floating dock. Starting at 6:45 a.m. we will have a designated swim warm up area for your use with safety personnel managing the area. The entire course is not open for warm up. Athletes will enter and exit False River at the floating dock. Athletes will be staged along the grass area behind the ramp.
We will have safety personnel on the course. You may hang on to kayaks and paddle boards to catch your breath but cannot use them to make any forward progress. Your safety is our primary concern, and we urge you to raise your hand to alert safety personnel if you are in distress. Similarly, if you observe another athlete in clear distress, please stop and alert safety personnel. Upon exiting the swim course, you will run straight up the gangway of the floating dock and along the carpeted area leading to the stairs to access the transition area.
Self-Seeded Start
Athletes will seed themselves according to swim pace. Swimmers will enter the water 1 at a time, every 3 seconds.
Waves
The swim is a time trial start.
BIKE
The bike course is an out-and-back around False River. Remember that all the roads on the bike course will remain open to traffic throughout the race. We will have police and volunteers at major intersections, but you are still to ride with safety as your primary priority. Every turn on the course will be marked with signs to the right side of the road, as well as orange marks in the road.
There will be SAG support vehicles on the bike course providing assistance with minor mechanical issues throughout the day.
RUN
River Roux run course (coming soon!). There will be 4-5 aid stations on the course. We will be serving water, Powerade, and gels (variety of flavors) at all aid stations.
