The Colonel Cross Country 3200m is a Community 3200m Cross Country race hosted at the Nicholls Farm as a part of the Nicholls XC Invitational. It is great for trail racers or road runners who are looking for a new experience. Come run at the beautiful Nicholls Farm and kick off the morning of races at the Nicholls XC Invitational. The 3200m course is entirely low mowed grass or some dirt road portions. Nicholls Track & Field student-athletes line the course at important turns to cheer on competitors. Competitors will have post race refreshments and the opportunity to share in the festivities of the University and High School races that follow. There will be prizes for the Overall Top Men's & Top Women's and Overall Top Masters Men's and Top Masters Women's finishers. If entries exceed 50 participants there will be age group medals awarded.
Nicholls SPA will be partnering with us to offer this race free to Nicholls students. Please follow their registration process if you are a student. There will be awards for Top Nicholls male student, Top Nicholls female student, and Top Nicholls nonbinary student.

Race Details LocationAt Tickfaw State park, you can go night hiking or listen to the swamp nightlife from the porch of your vacation cabin. Check at the Nature Center for scheduled programs. While there, view the 800-gallon aquarium stocked with fish found in the Tickfaw River. There are also displays featuring the animals, history and culture of the area and of Louisiana.Strolling through four ecosystems on over a mile of boardwalks through Tickfaw State Park, visitors can experience the sights and sounds of a cypress/tupelo swamp, a bottomland hardwood forest, a mixed pine/hardwood forest and the Tickfaw River.CourseRiver Trail will be a 3 mile trail loop. Hero Fest is a community event for Terrebonne Parish and surrounding areas to show support and raise money for area First Responders. This even will also include other non-profit organizations and vendors raising awareness and support for their cause. Join us for a one-of-a-kind coastal race in beautiful Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi—ranked in the Top 5 of America’s Best Coastal Small Towns by USA Today!
Now in its fourth year, the Bay Saint Louis Run+SUP combines a 5K run along the scenic beach sidewalk with a 1-mile stand-up paddleboard (SUP) race. This exciting event is hosted by the Bay Saint Louis Running Company and features chip timing, a continuous transition from run to paddle, and individual and relay categories.
Participants can compete solo or as part of a 2-person relay team—one teammate runs, the other paddles. The 5K is an out-and-back route on the beach sidewalk. The 1-mile paddle heads out, then south, parallel to the shoreline, before returning.

Need a board? Contact Sip Paddle Rental in advance to arrange paddle board rental and delivery to the race start. Arrive early on race day to set up your board on the beach for a smooth transition.
