We are looking forward to our 24th Annual Sunflowers to Roses Bike tour on Sunday, August 2nd. We are a fundraising ride that raises money in the fight against Cancer. We are supporting Cancer Action
Kansas City once again this year. We hope you will not only join us to ride but set up a fundraising page as well to make your impact even bigger.
We will start and finish at Erik's Bike Shop at 11500 W. 135th St, Overland Park, KS 66221. We are looking forward to a great ride with a variety of lengths including two gravel optoins through South Johnson County. We will return to Erik's for our well know Post Ride Party that kicks off at 10am. We will once again have Food Trucks and each rider will receive a meal ticket. Additional purchases can be made from the Food Trucks at the event.
Packet Pickup with be at Erik's on Saturday 8/1 from 11 am - 2 pm or on Sunday morning before the ride from 6:30 am - 7:15 am
We will stage in front of Erik's and leave after the National Anthem promptly at 7:30am.
The event is held rain or shine with no refunds.

There are seven days in a week and “someday” isn’t one of them. Make the commitment to become a triathlete or duathlete today! The Shawnee Mission Triathlon & Duathlon takes athletes throughout the
most visited park in the state that serves as a 1,250-acre urban refuge. Additionally, the course joins the Mill Creek Streamway Trail offering asphalt pathways snaking along the stream and through hillside forests. With five different events including relays, there is something for every athlete ranging in experience from first timer to the seasoned veteran. The Shawnee Mission Triathlon & Duathlon is featured as the USA Triathlon Kansas State Championship event with the top 35% of finishers in the Short Course and Olympic Triathlons qualifying for USA Triathlon Nationals.
COURSE OPTIONS
Triathlon - Olympic
1500 meter swim, 27 mile bike (6 laps), and a 6.1 mile run
Triathlon - Long
1000 meter swim, 18 mile bike (4 laps), and 4.68 mile run
Triathlon - Short
500 meter swim, 9 mile bike (2 laps), and 3.1 mile run
Triathlon - Super Sprint (athletes 11 and older)
200 meter swim, 4.5 mile bike (1 lap), and 2.25 mile run
Duathlon
3.1 mile run, 13.5 mile bike (3 laps), 3.1 mile run
The duathlon race begins on the main park road near the check-in tent. The run segments will take place on the main park road and the Mill Creek Streamway Trail. The first run course will be in a loop going in a counterclockwise direction, and the second run course will be the same loop but in a clockwise direction. The bike segment will consist of three laps around the park on the main park road.
USAT-Sanctioned Para Friendly Race
The Shawnee Mission Triathlon & Duathlon has again been designated by the USA Triathlon Paratriathlon Committee as “Paratriathlon Friendly”. Athletes wishing to race in this division will register under "Individual Adaptive Open Division".

Athena and Clydesdale Categories
The triathlon races in this event hosts Athena divisions for women and Clydesdale divisions for men. The minimum weight for men is 220 pounds and for women is 165 pounds. The age categories for these divisions for men and women will be 39 years of age and under, and 40 years of age and over. Participants are not eligible to compete in these divisions and in an age group division at the same event.

many 4H members to Rock Springs 4H camp where they learn life skills and make lifelong memories.

Due to the overwhelming interest in our past simulation events, we are excited to announce
that we’ll be hosting an entire Race Series consisting of four races. You can participate in one race...or all four!!
If you compete in all 4 races, you'll have a chance at a cash prize!!!
Come and experience the intensity, strategy, and challenge of a full HYROX-style race! Whether you're prepping for your next competition or just curious about what HYROX is all about, this simulation will give you the real-deal race feel and also great preparation for your upcoming race.
There are 2 division options to choose from (Individual & doubles - or you can do BOTH!), cool awards, parent/child team events, and swag you’ll love. If you want to register for Open AND Doubles, you must register for BOTH individually.
If you are registering as Doubles, ONLY ONE of you needs to register your team and you will be prompted to list your partners name prior to checkout.

Spirit Trail Trailhead – Knob Noster, Missouri
Join us for the Spirit Trail Classic, a scenic summer race along the beautiful Spirit Trail in Knob
Noster, Missouri. This paved trail winds through peaceful countryside and wooded sections, offering a smooth and enjoyable course for runners and walkers of all levels.
Participants can choose from four distances: 5K, 10K, 15K, or 20K, all following a clearly marked out-and-back course starting and finishing at the Spirit Trail Trailhead near Knob Noster Campgrounds.
Every participant will receive a finisher medal, no matter the distance. Whether you're chasing a new PR or just looking to enjoy a great morning on the trail, the Spirit Trail Classic offers a fun and welcoming race experience.

They're always on the move anyway, why not make it official? Join one of the fastest growing and confidence boosting kid's sports in the country by challenging them to become triathletes! This youth
triathlon is specifically designed to let the kids be the stars of the show. Athletes aged 14 years and younger will compete in individual age groups in this race that is truly an event for all abilities.
Please note that this a USA Triathlon sanctioned event. Athletes will need to register in the race that corresponds with their age as of 12/31 of the current year.

The swim will be a “splash” in the lake (Athletes are allowed to wear flotation devices).
The bike will take place on a paved trail near transition.
The run will be a short out and back on a paved trail.
*Parents must accompany athletes registered in this category on the entire course.
Super Sprint Triathlon: Ages 6-8
50 meter swim/1.6 mile bike/1 mile run
The swim will be inside the swim beach area with buoys/ropes on the right and life safety staff on the left
The bike will be inside Kill Creek Park on completely closed roads - athletes will complete 1 lap on the bike
Sprint Triathlon: Ages 9-10
100 meter swim/3.2 mile bike/1 mile run
The swim will be inside the swim beach area with buoys/ropes on the right and life safety staff on the left
The bike will be inside Kill Creek Park on completely closed roads - athletes will complete 2 laps on the bike
Long Triathlon: Ages 11-14
200 meter swim/4.8 mile bike/2 mile run
The swim will be inside the swim beach area with buoys/ropes on the right and life safety staff on the left. Athletes will run from east to west on the beach at the beginning of the swim and in between the first and second laps of the swim
The bike will be inside Kill Creek Park on completely closed roads - athletes will complete 3 laps on the bike

The 11th Annual Rexy Run/Walk is back on August 15th, 2026!
We will be offering our 5K and NEW 10K course.
The Rexy Run/Walk begins and ends at Broken Arrow Park, a picturesque city park, in
southeast Lawrence and will wind through the Baker Wetlands on a combination of paved concrete trails and fine gravel trails. The Rexy Run is stroller and dog friendly.
The Rexy Run is hosted by BabyJay's Legacy of Hope, a 501C based out of Lawrence that helps families with children who are fighting cancer. We help offset the extra expenses families have that are not covered by health insurance.

Celebrating 48 years, the annual Bonner Springs Rotary Club Tiblow Trot 5-mile run, 5K run/walk and 2K (1.24 miles) fun walk, takes place during Tiblow Days, Bonner Springs' largest annual community
