The Tour de Trail: Lexington Lake is a 10k and trail running event held on Saturday, August 15, 2026. It is located at 9000 Sunflower Road in DeSoto, Kansas.
Douglas County CASA is hosting a Costume Run in North Lawrence (Kansas). This certified 5K is a family friendly event for people to come and have fun and learn more about Court Appointed Special Advocates and their impact on our community.
Celebrating 48 years, the annual Bonner Springs Rotary Club Tiblow Trot 5-mile run, 5K run/walk and 2K (1.24 miles) fun walk, takes place during Tiblow Days, Bonner Springs' largest annual community festival. All funds raised go toward Bonner Springs High School scholarships, the Rotary’s Polio Plus Program to end Polio worldwide and other Rotary causes. Join us for fifth annual 5K-9 & Family Fun Run! Following the De Soto Days festival, this family and fur-friendly event is being presented by the local rescue Always & Furever Midwest Animal Sanctuary. Come out to see some adorable adoptable dogs, get some fun exercise, and help make a difference in the lives of homeless pups in need!
Each human registrant will receive a bib with official timing and post-race snacks. There will be snacks and water for the doggos too! Both the 5K Race and Family Fun Run will begin at 8 am. More details regarding the race will be sent via email the week of the race. Your pup is allowed to join you for the race at no additional charge. We do ask all dogs be dog and people friendly and up to date on all vaccinations.

Race Details
Packets will include participant bib and safety pins. Bibs must be pinned on the front of the shirt or shorts during the race. Participant's bib number must be visible when crossing the finish line.
Entrants will be placed in the appropriate 10-year age group according to their age as of December 31st of the current year and scored in the following age groups: Under 18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
The distance is equivalent to 3.1 miles and held on the trails inside Kill Creek Park.
Runners will line-up in waves based on their estimated finish time. Waves will go off approximately every minute until all runners are on the course. Signs will be placed throughout the starting line and announcements will be made concerning how to line-up.
No outside competitors for “pacing” purposes are allowed on the course. All participants on the course must be wearing the race bib provided at check-in. Participants may walk if necessary. Walkers should start at the back of the “pack”.
The Race Committee reserves the right to delay the start of a race or change the course if conditions warrant such a change.
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals will be awarded in each age group for men and women.
