Ride through history in the city where it all began. The Honor Major Taylor Fondo p/b Zipp invites you to celebrate the indomitable spirit of Marshall “Major” Taylor in his own hometown of Indianapolis, Indiana.
As the world’s first African-American sports superstar, Major Taylor broke barriers on the same streets where we now push our limits. For 2026, we honor his legacy with a professional-grade Grand Depart from the iconic Bottleworks District, sending riders southeast on brand-new scenic routes designed to challenge the legs and lift the spirit.
Ride Highlights:
A Hometown Tribute: Experience a managed, neutral police roll-out from the heart of Indy, moving as one peloton through the city that shaped a world champion.
Performance-Driven Routes: Choose between the 62-mile Gran (Metric Century) or the 30-35-mile Medio. Both routes feature professional chip-timing for athletes looking to test their mid-summer fitness.
Elite Support: Fully supported, themed SAG stops with elevated nutrition, hydration, and mechanical assistance to keep you moving.
The Bottleworks Experience: Start and finish at Indy’s premier urban destination. Enjoy secure, complimentary bike parking so you can transition from your ride to the front row of the evening's Pro Criteriums.
Curated Recovery: Your registration includes an official Honor Major Taylor t-shirt and a custom meal voucher for a curated selection of local restaurants inside The Garage Food Hall.
Zipp Wheelset Drawing: All amateur registrants are automatically entered to win one of two Zipp Wheelsets (valued at $2,500 each). Winners must be present at the 6:15 PM drawing to claim their prize.

Welcome to the 8-Hour Dream Endurance Race — Indiana’s Largest Endurance Running Event!
The Dream is a fixed-duration endurance race with one simple goal: go as far as you can in eight hours. Run, walk, or stroll — every mile counts. Held on Butler University’s iconic campus, The Dream has become the largest endurance running event in Central Indiana and continues to break participation records year after year. In fact, the event has sold out FIVE years in a row, driven by an incredibly high percentage of returning runners.
Spending a full day outside historic Hinkle Fieldhouse feels like a "running tailgate" — part competition, part celebration — all while testing your physical and mental limits. It’s an experience you won’t forget.
The Course
Throughout the day, participants can choose between:
The Long Course (5K)
The Short Course (1.91 miles)
Runners may switch between courses at any time to manage strategy, seek shade, or dial in a target distance. Both courses feature the now-famous Bulldog’s Revenge Hill, a defining challenge of The Dream.
Ways to Participate: There are three ways to be part of the action:
SOLO – Take on all eight hours yourself
TEAM – Share the challenge with teammates
Cat Nap 5K – A single-loop 5K starting at the same time as The Dream, perfect for family and friends who want to join the opening lap with SOLO runners
Team Categories & Divisions include:
Categories: Female, Male and Coed
Divisions within each category: 3–4 person team or 5–6 person team
Coed Team Requirements:
3–4 Person Teams: 3 runners → minimum 1 female | 4 runners → minimum 2 females
5–6 Person Teams: 5 runners → minimum 2 females | 6 runners → minimum 3 females
RC Cup is Back: The coveted cup goes to a local running club logging the most miles. Four different running clubs have captured The Cup over the last seven years. Will we have a new club take home the trophy in 2026
Run Clubs must be certified nonprofit running clubs with non-profit status
Require 6-person coed teams (3 males, 3 females)
Running clubs can only enter one team in the RC Cup, but may also enter additional teams in the OPEN division
Post-Race Celebration: What truly sets The Dream apart is more than the miles: The post-race party includes a FREE cookout, live music, beer garden and the Podium Ceremonies. After a long day, free food, drink and smiles is the only way to close the book on The Dream.
Whether you’re chasing miles, cheering teammates, or soaking in the atmosphere, The Dream delivers eight unforgettable hours.

This is Indiana: Farm fields stretching to the horizon, dotted with silhouettes of barns and intersected by miles of lightly traveled gravel roads. Century-old covered bridges crossing serene streams. Beautiful wooded oases offering shelter from the July sun. Hills (yes, Hills!) that will wake the legs and burn the lungs (but not for too long, because remember, this is Indiana). And a handful of small towns where you’ll be greeted by a wave and a smile as you pass through.
The Dust Bowl 100 presented by Zipp is meant to celebrate all this. Three distances are available (100 miles, 100K, and 44 miles), so whether you're a seasoned cyclist seeking a new and compelling challenge or an adventurous spirit eager to explore Indiana’s backroads on two wheels, we invite you to be a part of this journey with us.
Oh, and about the Dust Bowl name? Let’s just say it can be pretty dry around these parts in late summer. But it could also be rainy, or damp, or chilly, or absolutely beautiful. Remember, this is Indiana!

Celebrating the Amazing Megan
The purpose of the ride and walk is to bring together bike enthusiasts and families for a fun morning of bike riding and walking to celebrate and remember Megan Stancliffe. Megan was a young woman who endured many physical challenges with grace throughout her short life. Megan passed away at age 23 in July 2017 as a result of complications from cerebral palsy, which she contracted when she was only two weeks old. Despite the fact that Megan wasn't able to talk, endured many surgeries, and was confined to a wheelchair, she lived life with a spirit of adventure enjoying pastimes such as riding an adaptive bicycle, horseback riding, canoeing, and zip-lining. Participating in Megan's Ride and Walk honors the memories of Megan and her positive spirit.
Benefiting Morning Dove Therapeutic Riding Center
Founded in 1998, Morning Dove Therapeutic Riding Center provides equine-assisted services to children and adults throughout the Indianapolis community with physical, cognitive, behavioral, and emotional disabilities. Our program follows the standards and protocols established by PATH International and is led by a team of instructors with extensive training and strong equine experience. At Morning Dove, we strive to create a positive and supportive environment where participants can build meaningful relationships with horses while developing confidence, independence, and new skills. As part of the therapeutic riding community, we are honored to celebrate Megan's life with the Stancliffe family and are grateful to have been chosen as the beneficiary of this event.
