5th Annual Running for a Fuller Life 2.2 Mile Run
for the 22 Veterans that commit suicide each day
On March 22, 2019, SFC John Matthew Fuller took his own life. He brought energy, light, hope and positivity to everyone he met. The Fuller Life Foundation was started to honor and continue his legacy of "good vibes" while striving to reduce the occurrence of suicide for veterans.
Our mission for military veterans is to provide funding for counseling services and assistance in dealing with PTSD and other symptoms associated with living the military lifestyle.
Due to numerous barriers with the current healthcare system in the US, there can often be a delay in referral and scheduling for mental health services. It can take up to 3 months or more to establish and cost can always be an issue depending on insurance providers, finances or lack of insurance coverage. Our foundation has the opportunity to remove some of these barriers and provide hope for living a fuller life.

Join us for the 5th Annual Nun Run for Cancer
All proceeds to benefit the OSF HealthCare Cancer Institute
A New Day in Cancer Care
The Nun Run for Cancer is more than a race—it is a celebration of hope, compassion, and community. Inspired by the Mission of The Sisters of the Third Order of St. Francis to serve all people with the greatest care and love, the 4^th Annual Nun Run for Cancer brings together individuals, families, and survivors who believe that together, we can make a difference in the fight against cancer.
“The Nun Run is a powerful reminder that hope is strongest when a community comes together. Inspired by our Mission to serve with the greatest care and love, this event reflects our commitment to standing beside patients and families—providing not only exceptional cancer care, but compassion, dignity, and hope throughout every step of their journey” shared Michelle Conger, chief executive officer, OSF HealthCare.
Over the past several years, more than 24,250 patients and families have been touched by the care provided through the OSF HealthCare Cancer Institute. Support from events like the Nun Run helps ensure patients have access to advanced treatments, supportive services, and innovative care—close to home, when they need it most.
“Hope is not just something we feel—it is something we do, together,” said Dr. Jim McGee, president of OSF HealthCare Cancer Institute. “Every step taken at the Nun Run represents a commitment to our patients and to a future with better outcomes and brighter tomorrows.”
By registering for the Nun Run, you are joining a community united by purpose—standing alongside patients, caregivers, clinicians, and researchers. Together, we honor the Sisters’ legacy, support those facing cancer today, and help shape a future filled with hope
