All of our Free Clinics are held at Blankets Creek Mountain Bike Trails, 2261 Sixes Road, Canton, GA.
Please note: Riders must be at least 16 years old to participate in this event.
The clinics are on the first Saturday of every month, year-round.
January, February, March, and December the clinics are from 2 pm to 4 pm. From April to November, the clinics are 10 am to noon. In event of bad weather or trail closures, WOW will cancel the event 1 hour before the event starts. The cancellation notice will be posted on Facebook and an email from BikeReg will be sent to all registered participants.
The clinics require you to be registered and the waiver signed. When filling out the registration, please choose the Level that best suits your skill and fitness level. There are Level descriptions below each group to help you choose which group to join.
If you’re new to mountain biking OR have never done a fundamentals skills clinic we REALLY recommend starting with the Fundamental Skills Clinic. We feel taking this course from one of our certified instructors will help improve your riding skills.
We’ll have amazing volunteers leading and sweeping the rides to ensure everyone has a fantastic time.

Join us on August 8th for the 21st year of the Dog Days 5K as we band together to raise money for local Cobb charities.
Our "Dog Days" 5K honors the heat and humidity of summer and over the years, the Rotary Club of East Cobb has donated more than $800,000 from race proceeds to local and international service projects.
Registration is $30 through July 31st, $35 after or for Phantom Runners.

On August 8th, 2026, an anticipated 2,000 runners, walkers, and spectators, will gather for the 2026 Vinings Downhill 5K race. The Vinings Down Hill 5K course begins at the top of Mt. Wilkinson, winds around the Cumberland Mall area, and ends at the Lovett School (280-foot net drop).
Despite the name of the race, well, it’s “not quite” all downhill…there are 3 hills to climb throughout the race – at the half-mile mark, during the second mile and during the last half-mile. There are also 3 really amazing down hill sections that make up for those climbs!
There is also a Kids 1K Fun Run and a fun Doggie Dash & Costume Contest!
Our event includes a huge post race party at Vinings Jubilee with awards, music, great food and expo.
AREA 13.1 Half Marathon is an Out of this World Running Event. 13.1 is a night race in Roswell, GA. One of the most popular courses to run in the State of Georgia. Recently voted 2024 BEST Half Marathon in GA and TOP 50 in the USA by HalfMarathons.net !! The course is OUT OF THIS WORLD FLAT & FAST with a total elevation gain of the Half marathon at 240 feet, All finishers will receive an awesome alien head medal that will make your head SPIN , coveted Area 13.1 tri blend shirt that will be your new GO TO SHIRT, and for runners 21 and over a free beer donated by Gate City Brewing Company. NEW 13.1 COURSE for 2026- Due to Riverside Park being under construction for renovations until July of 2027.. For 2026 the race will start and finish from Chattahoochee Nature Center. Unfortunately due to size constraints in 2026 there will only be a half marathon and that will be limited to 1500 half marathon runners. The 10k and 5K along with the 13.1 will return in 2027 when we go back to the newly renovated Riverside Park. The course can be found under the "Course" tab. This will be a fast, flat, and fun two-loop course along the river and boardwalks, featuring only 240 feet of elevation gain!
Sorry, no jog strollers or pets will be allowed on the race course. Headlamps or running lights are a must have and HIGHLY suggested to all runners, as there are some dark spots along the course. The race starts at 7pm and it gets dark at 8:45 ish. All participants will have 3 hours 45 min to complete this race. The Finish Line WILL CLOSE at 11pm .
AREA 13.1 Time Limit: All participants will have 3 hours 45 min (17:00 min per mile pace) to complete this race.

EVENT DETAILS:
Opening ceremony will begin at 8:00 a.m. sharp. We will have a special honor guard presentation and a performance from the Heavy Hitter Band, that will lead runners and walkers to the start line.
Official start time for the run/walk is expected to be at 8:20 a.m., or immediately following the opening ceremony and walk over.
Medals will be awarded to top 3 finishers in each category at approximately 9:15 a.m.
Awards will be given to top 3 fundraisers.
Please keep in mind the course is hilly.
Water stations will be available before and after the race.
On-site activities will include: First responder vehicles and displays, Atlanta Braves mascot Blooper, family lawn games, and water fountain/spray ground.

DAY OF RACE: packet pickup is available race day at the registration tent beginning at 6:30 a.m.
VIRTUAL PARTICIPANTS:
All virtual t-shirts will be mailed after the race. Times for the virtual race can be uploaded on the results page from race day (August 22nd) until the following Sunday (August 30th) at 11:59PM. An email with instructions to upload times will be sent out on August 22nd for all virtual participants.
Distances for the Peach Kid's Triathlon - Mountain View will vary, depending on the age of participants:
Junior 6 – 8, 50-yard swim, 1.5-mile bike and 500-yard run
Intermediate 9 – 11, 100-yard swim, 3-mile bike and 1K run
Senior 12 – 14, 200-yard swim, 6-mile bike and 2K run
The Global Nerve Foundation (GNF) is a charitable, nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of millions of people worldwide affected by peripheral nerve problems.
To celebrate our fourth anniversary on September 13, 2026, we’re hosting our first-ever virtual 5K and 10K—and you can participate from anywhere in the world. This event has two goals:
Raise global awareness of peripheral nerve problems, and
Support GNF’s mission through optional fundraising (participation is free).
Participants who choose to fundraise will be eligible to receive free race swag and GNF goodies as a thank-you for their support.

We will gather in Kennesaw, GA for this meaningful Labor Day event which recognizes firefighters, law enforcement officers, EMTs, paramedics, dispatchers, and medical professionals who protect and serve our communities every day. Whether you’re running in support of a loved one, racing alongside a local hero, or participating as a First Responder yourself, this event is about gratitude, strength, and unity.
Participants may choose from three distances — 5K, 10K, or 15K — making it accessible for runners and walkers of all levels. All First Responders receive a free race entry as a small token of appreciation for their service. Valid ID must be presented at bib pickup to confirm eligibility.
All athletes who cross the finish line will earn a custom finisher medal, and awards will be presented to the top three male and female finishers in each distance in the standard five-year age groups, beginning with 10 & Under.

Learn from certified mountain bike instructors in one of three empowering workshops:
Intro to Air: Master the basics of leaving the ground confidently with skills like wheel lifts, level hops, bunny hops, and small jumps. Practice in a safe, controlled environment with instant feedback.
Workshop Requirements:
Consistently riding for a minimum of least two years
Comfortable riding 45 minutes on Intermediate/Blue trails
Ability to stand on level pedals
Good bike/body separation
Controlled, smooth braking
A fully functional mountain bike, helmet, closed toe shoes, water bottle
Roll Downs & Drops: Ride roll-downs and drops safely and confidently. Start with custom equipment for repetition and feedback before hitting the trail.
Workshop Requirements:
Consistently riding for a minimum of one year
Completion of WOW Fundamental Skills Clinic (or one similar)
Ability to stand on level pedals
Good bike/body separation
Controlled, smooth braking
A fully functional mountain bike, helmet, closed toe shoes, water bottle
Buildable Skills: Develop progressive skills - from fundamentals to cornering, front-wheel lifts, ratcheting, and more. Perfect for beginners or those wanting a refresher.
Workshop Requirements:
A WOW Fundamental Skills Clinic (or one similar)
A fully functional mountain bike, helmet, closed toe shoes, water bottle

Registration is limited to 30 women — grab your spot and Level-Up your mountain bike skills in a supportive, no-pressure environment.
Cancellation and Weather Policy
Cancel before Saturday, September 5, 2026: Receive a full refund (minus a $25 administration fee).
Cancel between Saturday, September 5 and Friday, September 11, 2026: Receive a 50% refund (minus the $25 administration fee) or transfer your registration to another person. You are responsible for collecting payment from the new participant and must email [email protected] with the updated information at least 24 hours before the event.
Non-attendance does not constitute a formal cancellation. Non-attendance results in 100% loss of payment.
If you register after September 4, there’s a chance we won’t have your shirt ready at the event. In that case, you can pick it up at the next WOW event. Unfortunately, we aren’t shipping shirts at this time.
In the event of inclement weather, any weather-related cancellations will be communicated promptly via email and our social media channels. If the clinic is canceled due to weather, your ticket will be transferred to the backup date of September 26. Please note that there are no refunds for changes or cancellations related to weather.

COURSE - This year's race will once again be run on the flat and fast out-and-back route starting on Marietta Street and proceeding westward to the Lucille Creek Trail, then northward and back to the finish line.
South Cobb Arts Alliance will host the 3rd Annual Art at the Springs 5K Fun Run and Walk on Saturday, September 12 at 8 am, held in conjunction with the Art Festival. The course is fun and scenic, with segments in historic downtown Powder Springs and the Lucille Creek Trail paved nature path with a finish line in beautiful Thurman Springs Park. Race will be professionally timed. Walkers are welcome. Rain or shine event, no refunds. All 5K participants will receive a comfortable, high-quality race shirt emblazoned with an original race logo created by an award-winning artist. Shirt size guaranteed if registered by August 26.
The Art at the Springs Festival will begin shortly after the race.

Held Saturday morning, September 12th, 2026 in Downtown Cartersville, GA the “9/11 Run to Remember” 5K represents a celebration of the herculean efforts of all of the first responders from that unforgettable day 24 years ago. Produced in conjunction with the Cartersville Fire Department and The Cartersville Police Department. Plan to come out and join us for a unique race in celebration of the lives of those that gave so much and enjoy the pre-race presentation of the colors by the Cartersville Fire Department Honor Guard in honor and memory of the events from that fateful morning. Proceeds from the race go to benefit the Georgia Firefighters Burn Foundation ( https://www.gfbf.org)

Race Route (See attached Route Map):
• From the Starting Line in Friendship Plaza, runners make a left turn onto Cherokee Ave. followed by a quick right turn onto Erwin St.
*Runners proceed approx. 1.25 miles on Erwin St. turning right onto Cassville Rd.
• Runners will proceed approx. .15 miles along Cassville Road to the entrance of the Cartersville Fire Department Station #1.
• Runners will turn right, running THROUGH Station #1 (where they will be greeted by throngs of cheering Firefighters and First Responders!) circling the back parking lot and returning to Cassville Rd.
• Runners will turn left onto Cassville Rd. proceeding .15 miles back to the intersection of Erwin St.
• Runners will turn left onto Erwin St. proceeding South approx. 1.25 miles to the intersection of Cherokee Ave.
• Runners will turn left Cherokee Ave for 1 block, turning right back into Friendship Plaza to the Finish Line!

The Georgia Army National Guard ASSAULT ON KENNESAW MOUNTAIN (AoKM) MEMORIAL 5K Race is conducted at Kennesaw Mountain State Park, in Kennesaw, Georgia. Attracting hundreds of runners from across the state each year, the AoKM exemplifies what it means to Never Forget.
Participants, which include military and civilian runners and walkers of all ages, run/walk/ruck to honor the Georgia National Guard’s Fallen 43 Soldiers lost during the Global War on Terrorism 2001-Present. AoKM’s mission is to support the Georgia National Guard Family Support Foundation, build morale, and promote physical fitness.
Now in its 15th year, over 3,015 runners have assaulted the mountain since 2012. To date, the AoKM has generated over $59,000 in support of our Georgia National Guard Soldiers and Airmen.
We are so excited to see you on the mountain this year so we can HONOR those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for this great nation.
You are invited to join together with people from all walks of life to honor America’s finest, in support of an organization that provides much needed relief in times of crisis, to America’s finest. Registration is NOW OPEN and will close on 25 September 2026 at 7:00 pm.
