Get ready to lace up your shoes and join us for the 17th Annual Frosty 5K, a beloved community tradition hosted by Saint Mary Catholic School! This fast and flat course winds through the beautiful streets of Fort Walton Beach, offering runners and walkers of all ages a great way to start the new year on the right foot.

After crossing the finish line, stay for the Frosty 5K Party—featuring hot food, live music, and fun for the whole family! Whether you’re chasing a personal best or just out to enjoy the morning, this event celebrates health, community, and the spirit of giving.

💙 Proceeds Benefit:

All funds raised will go toward the replacement of the Saint Mary School bus, helping ensure safe and reliable transportation for our students.

🎽 Registration Details:

• Early Registration (by Jan. 15): $40 | NWFLTC Members: $35

• After Jan. 15: $45 | NWFLTC Members: $40

• Packet Pick-Up:

• Friday, Jan. 30 | 4:00–6:00 p.m. | Parish Life Center (165 Coral Drive)

• Race Day | 7:30 a.m. at the Parish Life Center

• T-shirts guaranteed for registrations received before January 15.

We are offering one final packet pickup for all participants and late registrants of the Fort Mardi Gras 5K Run • Walk.

Powered by the Beads, Beats, and Better Minds Foundation, this family-friendly celebration blends fitness, fun, and mental health awareness with live music, vendors, food, and unforgettable vibes. — because community is the real parade!

Race START: 9a.m. with Mardi Gras Festivities till 3p.m. (FREE & OPEN TO THE PUBLIC)

CHECK IN PLUS START/FINISH is LOCATED by Basket Ball Courts in Ferry Park .

10 &UNDER FREE WITH ADULT REGISTRATION You will Register your child on Raceday or Packet Pick Up Days!

The 5k will be our 7th Annual, presented by the Beads, Beats & Better Minds Foundation, a Non-Profit whose mission is to support active minds and uplift young adults, their family and peers. We want to focus foremost on

MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS! Mental Health/Dis+ease is a social dilemma that's greatly damaging our communities. The fact is either not readily addressed, quietly spoken about or simply ignored.

The Fort Mardi Gras 5k is designed to address Mental Health /Dis+ease by promoting proper exercise, creating healthy minds, coordinating wellness and encouraging mental stability.

Approaches as such are preventive measures that will enable us all VICTORIOUS! Together we will raise awareness while embracing diversity, supporting one another and using this stance to help direct hundreds of lives as we get closer to defeating mental dis+ease to the fullest extent possible.

Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office Explorer Post 245 is a program for community oriented young men and women that teaches them about a career in law enforcement. The program also promotes leadership skills that are valuable in any chosen career path.

Event details and schedule

Please arrive early enough to allow for check in, we will start the race at 9:00 AM. We will have vendors and food trucks available! For the best experience, light colored clothing and sunglasses are suggested.

We will direct you to parking on race day.
