    All funds raised will go toward the replacement of the Saint Mary School bus, helping ensure safe and reliable transportation for our students.

    The 5k will be our 7th Annual, presented by the Beads, Beats & Better Minds Foundation, a Non-Profit whose mission is to support active minds and uplift young adults, their family and peers. We want to focus foremost on

    MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS! Mental Health/Dis+ease is a social dilemma that's greatly damaging our communities. The fact is either not readily addressed, quietly spoken about or simply ignored.

    The Fort Mardi Gras 5k is designed to address Mental Health /Dis+ease by promoting proper exercise, creating healthy minds, coordinating wellness and encouraging mental stability.

    Approaches as such are preventive measures that will enable us all VICTORIOUS! Together we will raise awareness while embracing diversity, supporting one another and using this stance to help direct hundreds of lives as we get closer to defeating mental dis+ease to the fullest extent possible.

    Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office Explorer Post 245 is a program for community oriented young men and women that teaches them about a career in law enforcement. The program also promotes leadership skills that are valuable in any chosen career path.

    Event details and schedule

    Please arrive early enough to allow for check in, we will start the race at 9:00 AM. We will have vendors and food trucks available! For the best experience, light colored clothing and sunglasses are suggested.

    Saturday October 17 and Sunday October 18, 2026

    Dare to run three races in two days! Or, run 2, or even a single event, the Wicked Triple Fun 10K/5K/Half Marathon is a premier event to raise funds to help with the upkeep and maintenance of the State of the Art Rubberized Track facility this race enabled to be constructed at Fort Walton Beach High School for use by all Okaloosa County Schools. The 10K which starts at 7:30am, Saturday October 17th, is the first leg of the three part series, followed by a sunset 5K later the same day at 5:30pm and a half marathon at 7:30am the next morning. The Half Marathon (including the Triple Challenge participants) has a course limit of 150 people so sign up early!

    Price until 8/9: 10K $30 5K $25 Half Marathon $70 Or all 3 for $115

    Price 8/10-10/4: 10K $35 5K $30 Half Marathon $75 or all 3 for $130

    Price after 10/4: 10K $40 5K $35 Half Marathon $80 or all 3 for $145

    Online Registration closes Thursday, 10/16 at midnight. You can still register in person at at any of the packet pick ups including race day! NWFTC members receive a $2 discount for individual race entries. Watch track club newsletters for the discount code.

    Everyone participating in all 3 races gets a cool finisher's medal and a Special Edition long sleeve shirt to commemorate your Triple Challenge effort!

    Packet pick up will be held on Friday, October 16th from 4 to 6pm at Run With It 21 Racetrack Rd NE, Ft. Walton Beach, FL 32547. Day of race registration and packet pick up will be at each race start approximately 1.5 hours prior to race start and will end 15 minutes before the race.

    Event details and schedule

    All 3 races are fast and flat yet challenging. The 10K course runs through the neighborhoods surrounding downtown Fort Walton Beach. The race start and finish is at Ferry Park on Hughes Street. The 5K course will run along Beachview Drive in Cinco Bayou, start line is across Eglin Parkway from AJs on the Bayou. The Half Marathon starts and finishes at Ferry Park on Hughes Street.

    The 10K awards ceremony will take place at a place in Ferry Park immediately following the race. Food, soft drinks and beer will be provided for all of the race participants. The 5K awards ceremony and after party will be held at AJ's on the Bayou. There will be a throwdown on Sunday morning in Ferry Park after the half marathon. The celebration will be for everyone who participated in any of the three races in the Wicked Triple Fun Series. Food, drinks and fun will be provided to congratulate everyone who participated in this grass roots effort to enhance our community by building a rubberized track facility in Okaloosa County.

    *Age group winners: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+

    *Awards for Walkers in each race:

    Overall Male and Female, 2nd and 3rd place male and female

    *Awards for the Triple Challenge: All three race times are added up for a total score. Top 5 Male and top 5 Female winners.
