1 cycling event in New Castle, Delaware

SCHEDULE

• 8AM check in

• 5k race starts 9AM

• 10K race starts ~10:30AM

RACE DETAILS

• Medals will be awarded to top three overall finishers and top three Delaware resident finishers (men and women) in following age categories - 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84

• 5k is mostly flat

• 10k has some technical sections in first 5k (tight radius turn and some chicanes), second half is the 5k course. No turnaround required

• Course is on C&D Canal Trail - 2 lanes wide, paved surface in very good condition

• Course will not be closed to other users (walkers, dogwalkers, joggers, and casual riders) so be aware of these potential hazards. Canal Trail does not get high volume of users on weekdays during early morning hours.
