Compete, jog or stroll through the streets of West Hartford, soaking in the festive vibe!! Make sure you show off your St Patrick's Day themed gear as there will be prizes for best Irish Garb, live bands, face painting, Irish music, step dancing, an inflatable gaga pit, clowns, leprechauns and much more!!

The annual Valley of Hartford 5K Road Race raises funds to support the Children's Dyslexia Centers of Connecticut. These centers offer one-on-one tutorial sessions to children valued at $5000/child and also offer teacher training programs valued at $10,000/tutor. 100% of the proceeds are distributed to the Children's Dyslexia Centers of Connecticut.

A two loop course that starts and ends in front of the Scottish Rite Building at 207 Deming Street.

Race course is a full gamut of ups and downs with moderate hills on a scenic route with plenty of water stations and volunteers.
