The Fort Collins St. Patrick’s Day 5K is equal parts road race and rolling block party—a point-to-point (or as we call it, Point-to-PINT 🍻) downhill 5k run/walk that starts in the heart of downtown Fort Collins and finishes where the real celebration begins: Odell Brewing Company.
Whether you’re chasing a fast time or just cruising in green with friends and family, this festive course delivers momentum, music, and plenty of reasons to linger after you cross the line. Every participant is welcomed with a custom event T-shirt and immediate entry into a full-scale post-race party featuring a beer garden, food and beverage, live music, awards, vendors, giveaways, and that unmistakable St. Paddy’s Day energy Fort Collins does so well.
Come for the run. Stay for the celebration. This is how Fort Collins kicks off St. Patrick’s Day—on its feet, together, and ready to cheers a great finish with pints of beer and possible PRs.

Run or walk with purpose and help us take steps toward ending period poverty in Northern Colorado. Did you know that in the US 1 in 5 girls miss school because she does not have access to the products she needs when she has her period?
Colorado Center on Law and Policy stated in their 2018 Self Sufficiency Standard for Colorado report, “Almost two out of three single mothers lack income adequate to meet their basic needs.” A new survey done by Justice Necessary, a non-profit out of Colorado Springs revealed that of 1,256 Colorado women 18-40 years old, 57% of these women struggle with affording period products. Yes, you read that right, 57%.
Join the women of Colorado Rocky Mountain Chapter, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. and the Fort Collins Running Club for a family-friendly 5K that brings movement, mental health advocacy, and community impact together in one meaningful morning. Every step supports period poverty initiatives and breast health.
Participants are encouraged to donate period products* or bring a gently used or new bra to support women and girls in NOCO. Your donation helps to ensure dignity and care for all.
*Period products exclusive to:

Tampons

Our event sells out quickly, so register early to save your spot in the race. Keep reading to learn all the details about this thrilling running adventure!

THIS IS A RULES OF THE ROAD RUN. Per our permit requirements, runners must obey all traffic laws and yield to traffic if encountered (this includes vehicles backing out of driveways). That being said, the race is held on low traffic residential streets, and the odds of encountering a vehicle on course are low.
Want to help out? We’re looking for course marshals, hot cocoa slingers, packet pickup, awards & more! Sign up here!
Online registration closes at 11:59pm December 30. If the race has not sold out, all race-day registration will be on-site at packet pickup.
We hope to secure open skate time in EPIC, as usual, as well. This will be updated as soon as confirmation is obtained. If available, you can bring your own skates or rent them on-site for $3. Open skate from at least 6:00pm-7:30pm.
