A local group of fun, energetic runners of all abilities who come together on Tuesday nights to do speed interval workouts together. The group was created by Jane Welzel, an amazing runner and friend who we honor by carrying forth her message of love, peace and run happiness.

In addition to Tues speed work, the group helps produce the NOCO All-Comers Track Meets and the Bacon Strip Race. We are also active in the greater local running community.

Once again, this race is part of the FCRC/Horesetooth Half Marathon/RU training program. The races are free for FCRC members. There is a suggested donation of $20 to help offset the cost of putting on the event(port-a-pottys, gifts, BACON!).

The cost for non-members is $30. However, the annual cost of FCRC membership is $30. Membership includes many benefits, from race discounts ($20 off Horsetooth Half, $5 off FireKracker 5K, $5 off Resolution Run, as well as dozens of other races), discounts at local running stores, social events and more.

The Fort Collins St. Patrick’s Day 5K is equal parts road race and rolling block party—a point-to-point (or as we call it, Point-to-PINT 🍻) downhill 5k run/walk that starts in the heart of downtown Fort Collins and finishes where the real celebration begins: Odell Brewing Company.

Whether you’re chasing a fast time or just cruising in green with friends and family, this festive course delivers momentum, music, and plenty of reasons to linger after you cross the line. Every participant is welcomed with a custom event T-shirt and immediate entry into a full-scale post-race party featuring a beer garden, food and beverage, live music, awards, vendors, giveaways, and that unmistakable St. Paddy’s Day energy Fort Collins does so well.

Come for the run. Stay for the celebration. This is how Fort Collins kicks off St. Patrick’s Day—on its feet, together, and ready to cheers a great finish with pints of beer and possible PRs.

Run or walk with purpose and help us take steps toward ending period poverty in Northern Colorado. Did you know that in the US 1 in 5 girls miss school because she does not have access to the products she needs when she has her period?

Colorado Center on Law and Policy stated in their 2018 Self Sufficiency Standard for Colorado report, “Almost two out of three single mothers lack income adequate to meet their basic needs.” A new survey done by Justice Necessary, a non-profit out of Colorado Springs revealed that of 1,256 Colorado women 18-40 years old, 57% of these women struggle with affording period products. Yes, you read that right, 57%.

Join the women of Colorado Rocky Mountain Chapter, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. and the Fort Collins Running Club for a family-friendly 5K that brings movement, mental health advocacy, and community impact together in one meaningful morning. Every step supports period poverty initiatives and breast health.

Participants are encouraged to donate period products* or bring a gently used or new bra to support women and girls in NOCO. Your donation helps to ensure dignity and care for all.

02/26/26 Full Marathon Update: We have less than 20 Charity Fund entries for the full marathon and will probably sell out within a couple of weeks. These entries are the only way to register for the full marathon at this time. Once the Charity Fund entries are sold out, there will be no additional registration for the full marathon.

02/27/26 Half Marathon Update: The half marathon has sold out of standard entries! We have less than 50 standard entries left. Charity Fund entries are $340 for the half marathon and are the only way to register for the half marathon now. We reserve a limited number of Charity Fund entries where all proceeds go to the charities and non-profits that partner with the race. Once these are sold out, there will be no additional registration for the half marathon.

Join us for the Colorado Marathon in Fort Collins this May! Our annual event takes place in the stunning Poudre Canyon and the gorgeous natural areas of Fort Collins in Northern Colorado.

Each year, thousands of runners participate in this incredible event to test their endurance, push themselves to new heights, set new PRs, and race alongside other running enthusiasts who share a passion for health and fitness. Many even run Colorado’s fastest race to qualify for the Boston Marathon! Regardless of why you join us at this momentous event, we’re happy to have you!

With one of the most scenic downhill courses in the state, four different distances to choose from, and a vibrant community-centric atmosphere, this is one race you don’t want to miss. But be quick! Our event sells out quickly, so register early to save your spot in the race. Keep reading to learn all the details about this thrilling running adventure!

Note: Once a race reaches capacity, a limited number of entries are reserved for the "Charity Fund." These entries are double the price and all proceeds go to local charities and non-profits that are involved in the race. Once we hit the Charity Fund entries, this is the only way to register for that distance. Once the limited number of Charity Fund entries are sold, the race will be officially sold out and registration for that distance will be closed.

You will be able to register or change distances at the expo on Friday or Saturday of race weekend. However, if a race has reached capacity, there will be no new registration or changes to that distance.
