This is a Moreland Community Event run by the Moreland Education Foundation. Our goal is to build community and to raise money to continue enhancing Art, Music, Sports and the education enrichment of the students in all seven schools in the Moreland School District. Join this fun family event with your Moreland community and invite friends and relatives. Enjoy a fun morning out, community booths, games, and food & a friendly competition among schools. The Leland High School Booster Club, a non-profit organization, is organizing a fundraising event to support our student athletes. The event is a 5K and 10K walkathon and run event. All proceeds will go to the Leland High School Booster Club.

We encourage all members in the community to participate by purchasing the ticket and participating at the event. The event is organized by board members of the booster club, volunteers , community members, and students of the Leland High school.

Willow Glen 5K Run/Walk for Education

Willow Glen 5K’s flat and USATF-certified race course starts in San Jose’s Willow Glen downtown and winds through neighborhood streets, with racers cheered on by local businesses and residents.

Racers, families and neighbors are then invited to a post-race festival, awards ceremony and kids’ fun zone. Sponsor booths, pancake breakfast, music, games, massage therapy, and a dedicated kids’ area – all spread out over two areas of the Willow Glen Elementary school campus.

Proceeds from the race go to local elementary school PTAs to fund programs such as: arts, music, science, sports, technology and many more.

Join us for Leigh's 10th Annual Longhorn Stampede 5K Run/Walk! The Stampede’s flat and USATF-certified course starts at Leigh High School and winds through surrounding Cambrian neighborhoods. The event will take place on Saturday, May 16, 2026. This annual Stampede brings our entire community together – students, staff, parents, families, neighbors, friends, friends of friends, and local businesses. Whether you are a walker, casual jogger, or a distance runner, everyone is welcome!

The 10th Annual Foster5K + Kids Dash

Run for Hope. Stand for Change.

The 10th Annual Foster5K celebrates a decade of community impact. Amidst a critical funding crisis, your participation ensures we can continue providing advocates for foster youth who have experienced trauma. On Sunday, May 17, 2026, we gather at Martial Cottle Park to turn steps into hope. Race proceeds support Child Advocates of Silicon Valley (CASV) and its Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Program, dedicated to providing everlasting impact on our community's most vulnerable youth.

Ways to Move:

5K Run/Walk: A chip-timed race for all ages and abilities at Martial Cottle Park.

Kids Dash: Fun runs for ages 12 and under, featuring a 700m sprint for "Big Kids" (ages 6–10) and a 250m dash for our "Little Kids" (ages 5 and under).

Whether you sprint, jog, or skip, you are running for their future. Join us and stand for change!

All proceeds benefit Child Advocates of Silicon Valley, an independent nonprofit serving our community's most vulnerable youth - foster children aged birth to 21 years old who have experienced abuse, neglect and/or abandonment.
