Aid Stations and Goodies
All of our aid stations will be reflective and aglow so they can be spotted easily on the trails! Our aid stations will be stocked with fluids, fruits, and snacks. Course Description
The majority of the Cuyamaca 100k course lies within the boundaries of Cuyamaca Rancho State Park approximately one hour east of San Diego. The course consists of three distinct loops, all of which start and end at Camp Cuyamaca off of Highway 79. Each loop covers a different set of trails with minimal backtracking and repetition. The first and longest loop of 31.5 miles traverses the western side of the park from south to north and approaches the summit of the park's high point, Cuyamaca Peak, at 6500'. The second loop is 12.6 miles, and takes in the southeast corner of the park near Oakzanita Peak. The final loop of 18.3 miles brings runners through northern section of the park, briefly leaves the park and enters Anza Borrego, and travels along the PCT overlooking spectacular desert views, before returning to Cuyamaca's northern meadows and returning south to the finish. The 2026 Cuyamaca 100K is a 2027 Western States qualifying race.

A Southern California Trail Classic Set in the rugged and scenic mountains of eastern San Diego County, the Noble Canyon 50K & 15K Trail Races deliver a high-desert/mountain adventure steeped in raw beauty and trail running grit. Whether you're chasing an ultra challenge or testing your speed on the shorter course, this race offers an unforgettable experience through the Cleveland National Forest — a wild and protected landscape that feels miles away from the city bustle. This USATF-sanctioned event is operated under a special permit on National Forest land, with the USDA as an equal opportunity provider, employer, and lender. Course Description Both courses start and finish at 8631 Pine Creek Road in Pine Valley, CA. The 50K begins at 6:30 AM with a mandatory pre-race briefing at 6:15 AM. Runners can expect a rugged out-and-back journey through the historic Noble Canyon Trail system — a course known for its rocky climbs, exposed ridgelines, and fast descents. The terrain is technical and
varied, featuring stretches of pine forest, open granite-studded slopes, and canyon switchbacks that offer sweeping views of the Laguna Mountains. The 15K kicks off at 7:30 AM after a 7:15 AM briefing and provides a shorter, but still challenging taste of the same rugged terrain. It's perfect for newer trail runners or those looking for a fast and scenic mountain race.Elevation gain is significant on the 50K, rewarding those who come prepared for a true mountain ultra. With temperatures that can shift quickly, runners should be ready for heat in the canyons and crisp winds at higher elevations. Aid Station and Support Runners will be supported by a team of dedicated volunteers across multiple well-stocked aid stations (locations and exact mileage will be shared in the race packet). Expect hydration, electrolytes, and essential fueling options to keep you going through the ups and downs of the course.Course volunteers also assist with safety across highway crossings, shuttling supplies, and
helping runners stay on track throughout the event. Runner Experience The Noble Canyon experience is as much about community as it is about competition. From the early morning buzz of race day parking to the trail camaraderie shared along the climbs, this event draws trail runners who respect the challenge and embrace the beauty of the wilderness. Race parking opens at 5:00 AM, with on-site parking available and directed by staff. The vibe is low-key, runner-focused, and built around the joy of running hard in a beautiful place. Whether you're pushing for a PR or soaking up your first trail race, the Noble Canyon atmosphere will lift your spirits all the way to the finish line.Don’t forget to tag your race day and training moments with #NobleCanyon50K — your stoke might just inspire someone else to toe the line next year. Practical details 15K On-Site Registration closes at 7:00 AM sharp, so plan to arrive early if you're registering day-of. Pre-race briefings take place at 6:15 AM for the
50K and 7:15 AM for the 15K.Parking is available on-site and opens at 5:00 AM. Follow staff instructions upon arrival to ensure a smooth and organized parking experience.Weather in the Cleveland National Forest can be unpredictable. Runners should come prepared for a range of conditions, including heat in the lower canyons and cooler, breezy temperatures at higher elevations. Proper hydration, sun protection, and trail-ready gear are strongly recommended. Volunteer Opportunities These races wouldn’t be possible without the help of an incredible volunteer team. If you're interested in giving back to the trail community — whether through course marking, sweeping, aid station support, highway safety, or logistics — we’d love to have you on board! To volunteer, please email the race director at [email protected]. Volunteering is a great way to connect with fellow runners, enjoy the outdoors, and be a vital part of race day success. Event's current local time: 1:22 AM PT
About
If you love the mountains, the challenge of a good, long climb and quad-pounding descents, then The Peak is for you. Running mostly along single track trail with spectacular views, The Peak climbs Cuyamaca Peak—San Diego County’s second highest. The 50K and marathon routes take you up on a 2,200 foot climb over the initial 6.5 miles of the course, then drop you down 2,800 feet to the Green Valley Aid Station and marathon turnaround. 50K runners do a short loop back to Green Valley, then join marathoners on a return trip that takes you back up to the top of Cuyamaca Peak for a total elevation gain and loss of 10,000 feet. The half marathon follows in the footsteps of the marathon, climbing up the challenging Conejos Trail, then reaching the Peak before dropping down to a fast finish.

The Color Run is the happiest, most colorful 5K on the planet. At The Color Run, it’s not about how fast you go or how far you’ve trained—it’s about having the best day ever. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or someone who’s never done a race before, you’re invited. Walk it, jog it, dance your way through—it’s all about fun, laughter, and making unforgettable memories.
This 5K experience is designed for everyone, from families and friend groups to first-timers just looking to try something new. Along the course, you’ll pass through vibrant color zones where you’ll be doused in bursts of colored powder, turning you into a moving canvas of fun. By the time you cross the finish line, you’ll be head-to-toe in color and smiling the whole way through—we promise.
The Color Run keeps things simple:
Start clean. Wear white (the whiter, the better!) so you can show off every splash of color along the way.
Get colorful. At each kilometer, you’ll run, walk, or dance through color zones filled with bright, food-grade colored powder—by the finish, you’ll be completely transformed.
Celebrate big. After you cross the finish line, the fun continues at the Finish Festival—an epic dance party with music, color throws, and high-energy vibes you won’t want to miss.
From start to finish, The Color Run is less about competition and more about connection, joy, and pure fun. It’s not just a run—it’s a full-on color experience you’ll be talking about long after the last color flies.

About the Event
Enjoy a beautiful morning run on a 5-mile loop course around a serene urban lake. All paces are welcome. See what you can do in 6 hours! Each lap is chip-timed, and in the last 30 minutes if you arrive at one of the remote aid stations you'll be credited for this additional mileage. In addition to the hydration, fuel and encouragement you'll get at the 4 aid stations, you'll be able to leave your own gear/nutrition in a secure area so you can reach for it on each lap. The race is sponsored by the Sri Chinmoy Races and sanctioned by USATF.
About the Course
For the duration of the event, athletes will run/walk on the 5-mile loop around the lake, moving in a clockwise direction. Chip timing will track each 5-mile lap; complete as many as you like. Also, in the final 30 minutes of the race, if you reach one of the three outpost aid stations, you'll be credited for this additional mileage. You'll need to walk back (or forward) to the Start/Finish staging area. For a course map (and further details), see race website.
Features
The course is an asphalt loop circling the serene lake--mostly flat but with a few gentle hills. Athletes will move in a clockwise direction around the 5-mile perimeter. There is plenty of room on the footpath, and pedestrians and bicycles traveling in the opposite direction are required to stay in a separate lane. Four aid stations will offer fuel and encouragement--and you'll be treated to a hearty lunch at the conclusion of the race! There are multiple restrooms along the course (4 permanent restrooms at one location plus several portable sani-huts along the course). Laps and mileage are counted via chip. Athletes will receive a t-shirt, medal, and Certificate of Achievement. Awards are given in the Open division (49/under), 50-59, and 60-69 age categories.
Entry Information
The 2025 race is limited to 75 participants. Please enter early to ensure your spot! You can enter through UltraSignup or call the Race Director at 619-251-6321 to sign up via phone. Alternatively, you can download the printed race entry form from race website and mail it in with a check (see directions on race website). Entries close at 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 5 OR whenever the 75-person limit has been reached--whichever comes first.
Aid Stations and Restrooms
The course features four aid stations: one large one with lots of hearty race food and drinks at the main staging area plus three smaller ones along the course with drinks and simple food items. At the main area, you can keep your own gear, drinks and supplements nearby. There are four permanent restrooms near the main parking lot (near bait shop and boat ramp) as well as multiple portable toilets on the course. A medical doctor will be on site to address issues that require non-emergency medical attention. For emergencies, we will call 911. We trust that you can manage your own blister care and minor aches/tiredness.
Transportation and Parking
As Lake Miramar is a popular place for recreation, the Parks Department does not allow special event parking on weekends. Race participants will need to park off-site. But don't let this deter you! There are multiple parking/transportation options very close to the lake entrance, and the staging area is only about 1/3 mile from that point. (See race website for more details.) Closer to the day of the race, all registered participants will receive detailed driving and parking instructions via email.
Race Staging Area
The main staging area for the race is on the dam at the WEST end of the lake--about 1/3 mile from the driveway entrance to the lake on Scripps Lake Drive. This staging area contains the Start/Finish line, the main aid station, medical table, and athlete gear area.. Please allow enough time to walk to the staging area and still have time to check in, get your race bib, store your gear, etc. The race begins promptly at 7:00 a.m.
Sponsored by the Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team
This 6-Hour Race is sanctioned by USATF and sponsored by the Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team (SCMT), well-known across the globe for an excellent standard of organization and enthusiastic athlete support. The international SCMT offers hundreds of races each year from weekly 2-mile fun runs to the world's longest sanctioned footrace of 3,100 miles (in New York). San Diego 200 Reborn! San Diego 200 Endurance RunWhen & WhereOctober 23–26 • Start: 6:00 AM PT • Finish Window Ends: 4:00 PM PTEscondido, CaliforniaThe San Diego 200 is a 200-mile endurance event that circumnavigates San Diego County, showcasing an extraordinary range of terrain including coastal sections, urban corridors, rugged inland trails, mountains, and desert landscapes. It is a demanding multi-day undertaking designed for experienced ultrarunners seeking a true test of long-distance foot travel, resilience, and strategic execution. This edition represents the rebirth of a legendary San Diego endurance challenge. After a hiatus, the San Diego 200 was revived by the last two finishers of the original event, runners who completed the full course together and experienced firsthand everything the route demands—physically, mentally, and logistically. Having lived every mile, every low point, and every breakthrough, the current organizers are uniquely positioned to preserve the spirit of
the original event while thoughtfully shaping its next chapter. About The Race The San Diego 200 is intentionally uncompromising. Participants have 82 hours to complete the full distance, requiring consistent forward progress, disciplined pacing, and careful planning. The event emphasizes self-reliance, preparation, and respect for the environment, with runners responsible for their own crew, logistics, and decision-making throughout the journey. This is not a beginner event. It is intended for seasoned ultrarunners who understand what it means to move efficiently over long distances, manage fatigue and sleep deprivation, and adapt to changing conditions across multiple days. Those who line up should expect a challenging, deeply rewarding experience guided by organizers who have truly been in their shoes. Crew Requirement All runners are required to have a crew. Unlike most 200s, the crew can meet the runner anywhere it is safe to do so. The first 100 miles travel through populated areas
and it is possible for runners to self support at gas stations and stores. However, the second 100 becoming progressively more rugged with limited options for water and supplies. Crew will be critical in the second half of the race. Entry and Pricing During the reborn year, the event will be limited to 24 seasoned ultrarunners to ensure runners have a unique experience. Previous completion of a 200 mile race is highly recommended. Runners who have not completed a 200 but have other exceptional accomplishments will be considered. We want to make sure every runner has a fighting chance to finish. Applicants will be placed on the wait-list and admitted if they meet the requirements. Slots will be given on a first come basis, so don't procrastinate! The entry is modest compared to other 200s at $750 plus fees and taxes for early birds. Early bird pricing has been extended to May 1 to give runners learning about the race from our Distance to Empty podcast appearance a chance to sign up at a
bargain price. We're doing this for the love of 200s and to showcase San Diego, so all profits will be donated to native American charity. The entry covers basic costs of the event, what we feel will be the sweetest buckle in 200s, and the donation to charity For More Information For full details, course information, expectations, and updates, visit https://www.sandiego200.com Event's current local time: 1:52 AM PT

Description This is a fat ass or self support run.No Fees, No Awards, No Aid, No Wimps. You're on your own to navigate and run the route while carrying or plan everything you need for your run. No support whatsoever. Celebrate Chinese New Year with this fat ass 50 miler! It's a single loop of 51 miles with about 5k ft ups and downs, all on most beautiful trails of San Diego. No course marking. You'll need to navigate and stay on course. For this year of Horse we are running counter-clockwise. Note this is NOT a virtual run. You'll need to run this course on 2/20/2027 starting 5AM and finish it before 6PM if you want a finish time. It’s probably harder than most of the races you’ve ran so far. You're warned. Location & Date Start/Finish:Canyonside Park Driveway, San Diego, CA 92126WVR7+7P San Diego, CaliforniaDirection: from Black Mountain Rd, turn to Canyonside Park Driveway, drive straight (don't turn) until the end of ball park (field 9), turn right to a half paved half dirt parking lot.
Date: Saturday 2/20/2027Start Time: 5AM. Finish Time: by 6PM the same day (13 hrs cutoff). Places to Refill/Resupply There are some places you can refill water. I do my best to route the course pass those points and mark them on the map. I listed the landmark and approximate mile mark for counter-clockwise route, for clockwise subtract them by 51, e.g. 12 mi counter-clockwise will become 51-12 = 39 mi.Old Pomerado Rd/Bette Brendixen Park, water fountain, mile 5.7 (45.3 clockwise)Garden Rd Neighborhood Park, water fountain & rest room, mile 11.5(39.5 clockwise)Chevron and Shell gas station, 215 Via Rancho Pkwy, mile 24.8(25.2 clockwise). Both open 24hrs. This is the major place you can buy water and food. It's about the middle of way in either direction. Be sure to stop by and take advantage of it. I intentionally route the course pass through both gas stations so you won't miss them. If you have friends to support you, this is also a ideal location, the address is: 3600 Sunset Dr, San
Diego, CA 92128Lake Hodges Visitor Center, food store, check for working hours, mile 28.4(22.6 clockwise)Paradise Produce Market, local farmer's store, check for working hours, mile 35(16 clockwise). This store is about 0.1 mile north off the course on Del Dios Rd/S6. The course cross the pavement at this point, turn north to the parking lot, then climb a bit to the store. On counter-clockwise route, it's the last convenient place to buy some water and food, there is no refill place for the last (first for clockwise) 16 miles, so bear that in mind. Course Map Garmin Course MapGPX FileThis year we run clockwise. Again no support/aid of any sort. You are on your own. Ridewithgps is strongly recommended for navigation and route planning. It's the best app I've known. You can download all kinds of files from the route, gpx/kml/fit, csv file for cuesheet, even turn-by-turn instruction with map. Remembering Dingneng Formerly known as PQ & GZ Trail Marathon. I changed it in memory of my beloved friend Dingneng Wang, who inspired us so much and loved running this course. May he rest in peace! Dingneng had many hiking friends and he created a biking group. Let’s getting together to remember him in our own ways! We miss you, Dingneng! My eulogyThis is NOT a race. There will be no support of any kind. You are on your own. No course marking, no aid station. You can have your own support any way you want, crewing or pacing. You can also run whatever portion of the course you like. Just come and run.No timing. However if you want a result, you'll need to 1) register here for free (you don't need to register if you only run a part of the course and/or don't need a result). 2) run and follow the course at the date/time specified below. 3) Let me know your time and the proof of your run.Start/Finish:Canyonside Park Driveway, San Diego, CA 92126WVR7+7P San Diego, CaliforniaDirection: from
