Join us for the Nadaburg Education Foundation Mardi Gras 5K, a fun and family-friendly event dedicated to supporting the educational success of Nadaburg Unified School District (NUSD) students and teachers!

This exciting 5K run/walk is a fundraiser where 100% of the proceeds will directly benefit our schools by funding:

Classroom Grants for innovative teaching projects and resources. School Projects and requests.

Student Scholarships to empower our learners in pursuing higher education.

Student Awards to celebrate and recognize outstanding achievements.

8^th Annual Spring Training 5K & 1K Fun Run

Honoring America’s 250th Anniversary + The Legacy of America’s Favorite Pastime

Kick off Spring Training 2026 with a race that honors the legacy of our nation and the sport that has shaped generations. Join the City of Surprise and Surprise Stadium for the 8th Annual Spring Training 5K & 1K Fun Run, celebrating America’s 250th anniversary and the enduring tradition of baseball.

Runners will move through the spring training home of the Texas Rangers and Kansas City Royals, taking in the energy and character that come with a true ballpark setting. This year’s event puts a spotlight on the role baseball has played in shaping our community and the legacy we continue to grow here in Surprise.

All participants will receive a Spring Training Race t-shirt, a finisher's medal

and a BUY ONE GET ONE FREE lawn seat voucher

(available at Packet Pick-Up) to any remaining 2026 Spring Training game

at Surprise Stadium.

Join us as we raise funds to further an Inclusive Workforce at Spencer's Place and within our community. We are committed to decreasing the alarming unemployment rate of Individuals with Disabilities by providing training and competitive employment.

Our 5k Fun Run includes finisher medals and t-shirts for all participants. If registering after March 15 your t-shirt may be delayed but we will make sure you get one!
