Join us for the Nadaburg Education Foundation Mardi Gras 5K, a fun and family-friendly event dedicated to supporting the educational success of Nadaburg Unified School District (NUSD) students and teachers!

This exciting 5K run/walk is a fundraiser where 100% of the proceeds will directly benefit our schools by funding:

Classroom Grants for innovative teaching projects and resources. School Projects and requests.

Student Scholarships to empower our learners in pursuing higher education.

Student Awards to celebrate and recognize outstanding achievements.

Whether you're a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or simply want to support a great cause, this event is for you! Gather your family, friends, and community to make a difference in the lives of NUSD students and educators.

    Registration Options Online registration closes the Monday before the race. Late registration is available at either packet pickup location. Details are on the race website. Kid's Fun Run! Now in its fourth year, your kiddos will get to rip up some trails in their own race at Mesquite. We will have them head out on the Competitive Track trails (all to themselves) on an out-and-back style run that’ll total about 1.5 miles. The run will be $8 and is an actual race distance listed on the registration button within Ultrasignup’s website.Registration for the kids include their own kid’s bib, finishers token/medal and option to purchase a kid’s tech shirt with Mesquite Canyon logo on it. Course Summary The Mesquite Canyon Trail Runs take place on rugged, single track trail with significant challenging climbs, incredible views, steep descents, large boulders, rocks, and desert vegetation. The courses offer a challenging but rewarding experience for all, from the beginning trail runner to the most

    experienced ultra marathoner. The 50 Mile & 50 Km courses are designed for experienced trail runners since they travel through a hazardous (but incredibly awesome) section of trail/wash down Ford Canyon. Here, 50 Mile & 50 Km participants will be required to execute some downhill rock scrambling over the famed “White Tank” rock formations. Cupless Events In an effort to continually lessen our race footprint, we are expanding our cupless events to the Desert Runner Trail Series.
