Medical Wilderness Adventure Race (MedWAR)
MedWAR Arizona is back and returning to the desert! The race features a refreshed format that blends trail running at Usery Mountain Regional Park with high-pressure medical and wilderness challenges that reward clear thinking as much as physical endurance. Teams of four will move across rugged Sonoran terrain while tackling realistic wilderness and resuscitation scenarios along the way, emphasizing teamwork, decision making, and performance under stress. Each team must successfully complete and demonstrate the required tasks before advancing.
This is an unassisted race with no support crew. Medical training is not required, though teams with wilderness or medical experience will be better prepared.
If you are looking for a meaningful challenge, want to compete alongside friends, and are ready to test your ability to think and act when the stakes rise, MedWAR Arizona is waiting!
