Join us for the first duathlon (run/bike/run) of the 2026 Triathlon PEI summer season. This event features both Sprint and Standard distance duathlons in the community of New Dominion and surrounding areas.

This fun and friendly event is perfect for triathlon newbies and veterans alike!
Members of Triathlon NS, Triathlon NB and Triathlon NL do not need to purchase a Triathlon PEI Day Membership for this event! We've got you covered:)
Events
Sprint: 5km run (1 out and back), 16km bike, 2.5km run (1/2 way out and back) * ages 16+
Standard: 10km run (2 out and backs), 32km ride, 5km run (1 out and back) * ages 18+

Check in & transition opens 7:00 am
Race Starts 8:00am
Course
This duathlon will feature out and back running sections on some rolling hills.
The bike loop may be considered a little challenging with areas of both new pavement and some rougher areas. Big bumps on the bike course will be marked.
The run and bike routes will not be closed to traffic and there will be signs posted to alert drivers that a race is in progess.
Other Details
There will be no refunds, deferrals or transfers for this event.
A minimum of 20 and maximum of 50 participants will be permitted in this event.
