Join us for the YOU MOVE Spud Run 2026 on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at Mill River Resort, as part of the Potato Blossom Festival!

This exciting community event has something for everyone—whether you're a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or bringing the kids out for a fun challenge, there’s a race for you.

Ever wanted to run down a real airport runway? Now is your chance ✈️

We are opening up the gates at Slemon Park for a rare, traffic-free race. Because it’s an airfield, the course is completely flat, wide open, and lightning-fast. Whether you're trying to crush your personal best or just want a unique walk with friends and family, this is an experience you won't get anywhere else on the Island.

Your registration fee goes directly to the Airforce Heritage Park at the entrance of Slemon Park.

The aircraft stationed here over the years are a huge part of Summerside’s history. Right now, a dedicated team of volunteers is working to restore them, and the funds raised from this race will go toward painting and fixing up two local icons: the Argus and the Tracker. By joining us, you're keeping local history alive!
