The Island Run
On Saturday, July 4, Island Walk hosts the 3rd Annual Island Run—set along Section 27 of the Confederation Trail. This scenic 12 km route stretches between Cardigan and Montague, offering a beautiful way to run, walk, or bike at your own pace.
This is a non chip-timed event, focused on enjoying the experience and the landscape. Afterwards, join us in Montague for lunch at Bogside and a chance to win some great prizes.
A portion of the proceeds will go to the Upper Room & PEI Food Banks again this year!

Thursday July 2rd – 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Event Day Pickup available from 8:00 to 8:30 am, at the Start in Cardigan.
Registration includes lunch at Bogside (Meat Option, Vegetarian option, Gluten free option on request) and live music.

Have a Pup that wants to join your run? Dogs are encouraged to come and participate in the run.
All dogs that participate in the Island Run 2026 will be entered into a raffle! Prizes include: Famous Puppers branded bandana, Dog toy, and Freeze dried treats from Wag Worthy!
Dogs must be on leash while participating and be picked up after.

Please plan your own transportation back to the start, however we will have free lifts available back to the start if you are patient enough to wait your turn.
