Rose City (Welland) Triathlon and Duathlon What Makes Rose City (Welland) a Great Place to Race Hosted at the Welland International Flatwater Centre and featuring Ontario’s Best Swim Venue, the Rose City (Welland) Triathlon is part of nearly Forty (40) Year history of Triathlon events in Welland. Our Olympic Events on Saturday serve as a perfect early summer event to prepare you for any longer events throughout the summer. The event also features a FULLY CLOSED Bike Course on Sunday for the Sprint and Give-It-A-Tri Events. Other Highlights Elevated Transition Area that overlooks the Swim Course Free Parking available at the Venue. Registration, Food, Awards, and Finish Line all close by each other Spectator friendly and the grandstands have plenty of seating

Enjoy a single loop swim with calm waters as you run directly up the Grandstands into the transition area. The Half Bike Course contains two loops along the well paved Niagara Parkway with closed roads for nearly 64km. The Olympic Bike Course features 25km of closed roads - A first for any race in Ontario! The run course is relatively flat and fast with a couple of challenging hills.
