HOW YOUR PARTICIPATION HELPS GRIEVING CHILDREN AND FAMILIES IN OUR COMMUNITY.
Each year, Lighthouse supports over 400 children, youth, and their families as they navigate their grief after the life-altering loss of a parent or sibling. Your event registration or donation will fund our grief support groups to ensure there is no cost to families who need them.
Lighthouse does not receive government funding, so we rely on fundraising events and the generosity of our communities to be able to continue to offer our services free of charge to those that need them.
Please join and help us ensure that no child grieves alone.

Getting to the Race
Spencer Smith Park is located along the beautiful waterfront in Downtown Burlington. The park can be accessed easily via Brant St.
From QEW Westbound: Take Brant St. Exit #101 and proceed south on Brant St. for about 3 km to Lakeshore Rd. Turn right on Lakeshore Rd. and you will come upon the event venue in 2 blocks at Burlington Ave. on your left at the waterfront.
From QEW Eastbound: Take Exit #97 for North Shore Blvd. E. off the QEW. Continue east on North Shore Blvd. for 700m reaching Lake Shore Blvd. and Spencer Smith Park along the waterfront on your right.
Parking
Parking on weekends at Burlington Municipal Lots is free.
About 400 free parking spots are available at the municipal parking garage on Locust Street next to the Burlington Performing Arts Center (BPAC).
Additional free parking is available at Municipal Lot #7 and #8 north of BPAC on Locust St., at Municipal lot #3 behind the No Frills Plaza on Brant St..

As an Athletics Ontario sanctioned event, we are adhering to the most updated best practices in the endurance event industry. A comprehensive Health & Safety Plan and an Emergency Management Plan have been developed, and various elements of the plans will be put in place should it become necessary. Facilities
Throughout the venue, our partners will be providing food and beverage items (for sampling and purchase).
For your convenience, clean and accessible washroom and handwashing facilities will be located on-site.

The 2026 37th Annual MNP Moon in June Road Race is a unique evening event in downtown Burlington. We have created an event for all ages, with our Rocca Sisters KidFest activity center, the Movati Meredith's Hero Kids 1K fun run for children age 1-12 years of age, Gordon's Great Grand K walk for seniors and supporters of our charity, Children's Aid Foundation of Halton along with our MNP 5k walk, 5k run, 10k run, through downtown Burlington. Post race activities include food, drinks, beer gardens, live band and awards.
Entries are limited, sign up quickly.
We have a variety of sponsorship opportunities if your organization would like to support our event and the Great Kids at the Children's Aid Foundation of Halton. The MIJ is a 100% charity event.
Team and Group entry fee discounts are available for groups of 6 or more.
MNP Moon in June Entry Change Policy
In planning the MiJ, we work well in advance, placing orders, lining up suppliers and organizing the safety and care for all runners. As such we incur significant expenses prior to the actual event. This is ultimately why we are forced to limit refunds and changes to entries.
Our policy.
We offer a variety of options for participants once they determine they cannot join us on race day.
These options include:
Refund is available on entry fees based on the timing of the cancelation (note processing fees cannot be refunded) see timing below.
Deferral of the entry to the following year, again this is dependent on the timing of the cancellation, see below.
Transfer, we can allow a transfer of an entry to another person, when possible
Donation, the MiJ is a 100% charitable event, all proceeds are donated to Children’s Aid Foundation Halton (CAFH). We can reroute your entry fee from the race to a donation to CAFH
Timing and options:
Requests given 9 months or more prior to race day: All 4 options are available.
Requests given 3 months or more prior to race day: deferral, transfer and donation are available.
Requests given 30 days or more prior to race day: transfer and donation are available.
Request given 15 days or more, prior to race day, donation is available.
Requests given within 14 days of the race; sorry no options are available.

2026 TRi KiDS Burlington – June 7, 2026
*** Regulations from the City of Burlington will require athletes in the 6-7 age group to wear a lifejacket (no exceptions are provided). Additionally, athletes in the 8-9 and 10-11 age groups will need to complete a 25m swim test or wear a life jacket. ***
The TRi KiDS Triathlon Series offers safe, non-competitive, confidence-building races for children and youth ages 3 to 13. TRi KiDS events combine three sports kids love: swimming, biking and running. We celebrate participation with the goal of encouraging a positive, healthy attitude towards physical activity and instilling self-confidence. The achievement of each athlete is recognized…and not just at the finish line!
We believe if children and youth engage in activities in a positive and supportive environment they will be active for life. The TRi KiDS commitment is to create memorable events where the athletes are the focus and their participation is celebrated by their family and friends, our volunteers and us.

Bib Personalization Deadline: May 17, 2026 – Athletes who register (including transfers or entries from the waitlist) after this deadline will not receive a bib with their first name
Family registration – A discount of $2 per athlete is offered when registering 2+ athletes in the same immediate family. Family members must reside in the same household and the registration must be completed in the same transaction. To get this discount for one athlete in multiple races, you must register here.

What is Run For Burlington?
Mercy 4 Mankind, a subsidiary of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association (AMYA), organizes this charity run to raise funds for the Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation in Burlington. We aim to support the local community and unite people for a noble cause. We are super excited to hold the fourth annual Run for Burlington. The Run attracts serious and casual runners and walkers from all walks of life. Participants come with their families for the cause!

Pancreatic cancer is one of the deadliest cancers—but together, we can make a difference.
About the Event
Kicking PancreAS™ 2026 is a fun, inclusive 5K for all levels and abilities—whether you choose to walk or run, set a personal goal and take it at your own pace, Kicking PancreAS™ series is coming back to Burlington, ON! We’re excited to bring this high-energy 5K to the community and invite participants to help us make the inaugural event a huge success. 2025 was a record breaking year and we are hoping that 2026 is even better! Help us reach our goal of increasing the number of participants to 375 and our fundraising goal of just over $48,000.
Every step—and every dollar raised—supports pancreatic cancer awareness, patient support, healthcare education, and Canadian research, helping change outcomes for those impacted by this disease.
