This year marks the 12th anniversary of the CFID Bug Run. We will be hosting a 5km run or 3km walk during AMMI/CACMID in St. John's Newfoundland.

Bug Pub Crawl 2026
CFID is thrilled to host the Bug Pub Crawl in St. John’s on Tuesday, April 28, 2026. Meet in the Delta hotel lobby at 6:00 pm, we will depart at 6:15pm sharp. Please note space is limited!
Registration for Pub Crawl will close on April 16 and Bug Run registration will close on April 30.

About the Event
Kicking PancreAS™ 2026 is a fun, inclusive 5K for all levels and abilities—whether you choose to walk or run, set a personal goal and take it at your own pace. Returning to Newfoundland, we’re building on an incredible 2025, when we had over 140 participants and achieved a 25% increase in donations, raising over $10,000.00!
This year, we’re aiming even higher and are counting on participants to invite friends, family, and colleagues to join the movement. Together, we can make 2026 our most successful year yet with a goal of 180 participants and $12,000.00 raised!
Every step—and every dollar raised—supports pancreatic cancer awareness, patient support, healthcare education, and Canadian research, helping change outcomes for those impacted by this disease.

Go Gold fun run in support of Candlelighters Association of NL is back!!!
The Candlelighters Association of NL exists to provide support, education, encouragement, advocacy and hope to all families affected by Childhood Cancer in Newfoundland and Labrador.
This fun run is just once around Quidi Vidi lake and our goal is to raise 1500 which will send one kid to camp. Because kids can't fight cancer alone.
We will be online next week the event is set for only 200 spots

Easy 5k (run/walk) on Quidi Vidi lake and our host and sponsor Jack Astor's has offered their venue and a free beer after.
Charity will be Single Parents Association of NL a great time of year to help boost there food bank.
Limited to only 300 for the first year just to check it out and we are working on a cool mummers medal.
