2026 Vancouver Pride Run & Walk is on Sunday, July 26th. 🏳️‍🌈 Held in beautiful Stanley Park during the Vancouver Pride celebrations, this year's run/walk/celebration is the largest and most epic ever! All ages and abilities are welcome, and we can't wait to see you all at the start line. 🏳️‍🌈

Pride Run & Walk features Canada's most beautiful 10k running course, a BC Athletics-certified qualifying race distance. This speedy and almost entirely flat route loops around the Stanley Park seawall, while the 5k course for runners and walkers generally follows the 10k route towards Coal Harbour and HMCS Discovery before returning to the 5/10k finish line in Ceperly field near Second Beach in Stanley Park.

Pride Run & Walk is your community event, created by community volunteers for our community. Show the volunteers some love with cheers!

Pre-race package pickup is Friday, July 24, and Saturday, July 25th, at Forerunners on Main (at 23rd Avenue). See Frequently Asked Questions for all the details.

On race day, our program starts at 8:00 a.m., the official welcome ceremony at 8:15 a.m., and the first runners will set off from the starting line at 8:35 a.m. sharp. We've got fun surprises in store for you before, during and after the race!

Pride Run & Walk is hosted by Vancouver Frontrunners, celebrating its 43nd year of providing a safe and friendly environment for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, their friends, and allies to enjoy running and walking.

About the Event

Kicking PancreAS 2026 is a fun, inclusive 5K for all levels and abilities—whether you choose to walk or run, set a personal goal and take it at your own pace.

Returning to Vancouver, we’re building on an incredible 2025, where we saw 400 participants and over $96,000.00 in donations. This year, we’re aiming even higher! Our goals are:

1. 500 participants

2. $120,000 in fundraising!

We are counting on participants to invite friends, family, and colleagues to join the movement. Together, we can make 2026 our most impactful year yet, in Manitoba

Join the Great Trek for a jaunt through Musqueam territory. Have fun or clock a personal best for the calendar year. The Great Trek features races for everyone with a Half Marathon, 10KM, 5KM, plus 36.1KM Hat-Trick.

Package Pickup will be held race week only at Forerunners Main St, over four days, starting Tuesday, 12pm-6:30pm, plus Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 10am-6:30pm.

The Big Elf Run Come join us for the 12th annual Big Elf Run on Saturday December 12th 2026. This holiday themed run offers a 5km/10km Big Elf Run/Walk (2pm) as well as a 1km Wee Elf Run/Walk (1pm) around scenic Stanley Park. Run with hundreds of elves, enjoy a DJ, “elfie station”, prize giveaways, vendors and more. The Big Elf Run tours picturesque Stanley Park. Starting at Lumberman's Arch, the course winds its way along trails surrounded by old oak trees before looping onto the seawall with hallmark views of Coal Harbour and the Burrard Inlet. Join us on February 21, 2027 for the return of RunGo Dash for Dogs — a fun, community-focused 2K/5K/10K winter trail event celebrating the joy of walking or running, dogs, supporting a great cause, and the outdoors.

RunGo Dash for Dogs proudly supports BC & Alberta Guide Dogs, helping raise funds for their life-changing programs that provide professionally trained guide and service dogs at no cost to recipients. Thanks to the incredible generosity of participants, sponsors, volunteers, and donors, Dash for Dogs has raised over $220,000 in the past 13 years. The 2026 event alone raised over $30,000 in support of their mission — and we’re excited to build on that momentum in 2027.

Participants can expect:

• Scenic winter trail routes in Stanley Park

Dogs are welcome to join their humans on course (well-behaved and leashed), making this a unique event for runners and four-legged companions alike. This is a low-key self-timed event. The course will be fully flagged and course marshals will be on course to direct runners. A RunGo audio guide of the course is also available.

This event continues to be inspired in part by the spirit of Guide Dog Dynasty, whose gentle nature helped shape the heart of Dash for Dogs from the beginning.
