Dates: July 20 - July 31 OR August 2 - Augst 15th
This option is NOT available for August 1
The Tour de Lavender Self-Guided option is for folks who either cannot attend on August 1 or prefer a more low-key experience while still supporting fundraising for the Olympic Discovery Trail. Participants ride the Fun Ride route (35 miles) on any day between July 20 - 31 or Aug 2-15 (NOT available on August 1st). We will provide a swag bag, paper and digital maps, and all of the information you need to have a lovely day visiting the farms, such as the schedule of farm operating hours, coupons for farms and local businesses, and more. There is no mechanical or other on-route support.
Participants will pick up their swag bag and information at the Sequim-Dungeness Chamber of Commerce in Sequim, Washington between the hours of 10am and 4pm on Monday through Saturday (closed Sunday). The route is essentially a loop, so riders can start / end at any location, but we suggest that you begin at Carrie Blake Park where there is public parking and restrooms.
The event will visit a minimum of 5 lavender farms. The current map for the ride is Tour de Lavender Fun Ride Map (subject to minor updates between now and July)
What started years ago with Jam Over the City as part of Grouse Mountain’s event legacy now evolves into its next natural chapter. Built from that same grassroots, community-driven energy, the focus shifts from the terrain park scene into the MTB world with the launch of Dirt Over the City at Grouse Bike Park.
Dirt Over the City is a new grassroots midweek race series launching in 2026 at Grouse Bike Park, bringing together the local riding community — and beyond — for a fun, fast, and progressive race experience high above the city.
Backed by heavy hitters in the scene, Comor Sports and Giant Bicycles are stepping in as official Gold Sponsors, Essential Cycles has come on as the Silver Sponsor bringing the heat with stacked prizing and serious support for the series.
The series features three standalone race events, each with its own unique course design. Every course is fully lap-able via the Screaming Eagle chairlift, keeping racing accessible, efficient, and focused on flow, progression, and maximum ride time.
This series is built to:
Showcase local riding talent and North Shore culture
Create an inclusive, competitive, and fun race environment
Support rider progression from intermediate through advanced levels
Build community through consistent midweek racing
Riders can register for individual events or go all-in on the full race series and unlock 20% off—perfect for those ready to commit and save.
