The Cordova Youth Triathlon is kicking off this summer in Rancho Cordova! This will be a race for kids ages 6-16 that combines three activities – swimming, cycling, and running – completed one after the other, with short transitions in between. The distances are adjusted based on age groups, so younger participants might do very short courses, while older youth take on slightly longer challenges. This is our first year, but we hope to make this an annual event.
The Cordova Youth Triathlon is a great opportunity for young athletes to challenge themselves, build confidence, and have fun in a supportive, high-energy environment. We welcome participants of all skill levels and abilities. We hope to foster a sense of community and encourage them to stay active and explore the many local youth sports opportunities available in our community.

Every swimmer dreams of making the ultimate "ESCAPE" from the historical island prison located in the middle of the San Francisco Bay! This is the swim the Anglin Brothers and Frank Lee Morris successfully attempted in their escape from Alcatraz on the night of June 12, 1962. Who knows where they are now? Who cares?!! Now it's YOUR turn! The event is limited and sells out months in advance every year so don't wait too long to register!
PLEASE NOTE: This swim is NOT for NOVICES. This event is for experienced open-water swimmers only. You should be able to swim one mile comfortably in a pool in under 40 minutes.

Join us in Gilroy, California on Saturday, August 22, 2026, for the Race2Unravel — a powerful day of ACTION in the fight against childhood cancer.
This inspiring community event features a 5K, 10K, and our new 5K Ruck Division — because every step forward fuels critical pediatric cancer research. Whether you run, ruck, sponsor, or donate, you are helping fund innovative research and honoring the children who inspire us: those still fighting, those we’ve lost, and the future we refuse to give up on.
And for our youngest supporters, we've added a few different options. They can participate in the main runs (5K Youth Ages 7–17 or 10K Youth Ages 9-17) or the Kids Fun Run (Ages 2–12) that consists of one lap around the park (just over ¼ mile). Parents are welcome to walk or run alongside their child for the Kids Fun Run but all those participating in the 5K or 10K must be registered. These are great opportunities for children to get involved and feel the spirit of the day.
Move with purpose. Show up with heart. Race2Unravel...until there is a cure!
