We will now be swimming from Muirs Beach, Coles Bay.
Get ready for a fun and exciting course — take on the challenge, push your limits, and experience the raw beauty of Tasmania’s east coast at the Devil of a Swim.
Dive into crystal-clear waters and choose your distance — 1km, 2km or the ultimate 5km endurance swim — in one of the most spectacular ocean settings in the state. With turquoise water, dramatic coastline and breathtaking surroundings, this is more than a swim… it’s an experience.
The 5km endurance event follows a course from Muirs Beach, tracking the coastline before heading around the surrounding headlands. Swimmers will pass through a designated buoy where cut-off times will apply to ensure participant safety. After completing the course, competitors will make the final push back to the finish line at Muirs Beach.
The 2km and 1km events follow a clearly marked buoy course just offshore from Muirs Beach — the perfect opportunity to challenge yourself in open water while soaking up the stunning coastal atmosphere.
The Kids Swim takes place along the shoreline of Muirs Beach, creating a safe, supportive and exciting environment for young swimmers to be part of the action.
Registration pack collection will be held from 3:00pm to 5:00pm on 25 April at The Bicheno Surf Lifesaving Club.
