Under Sydney's iconic Coca-Cola billboard in Kings Cross, Andy and Michael founded Kings Cross Track Club in January 2015 with a simple belief: running is for joy, and it belongs to everyone. Born in the gritty heart of the old red-light district, the crew rejected the usual running club gatekeeping. No pace groups. No fees. No sign-ups. Around 30 runners of every background and ability show up week after week to explore Sydney's streets together, from speedsters to lopers. The vibe is warm, free, and grounded, with conversation woven into every run. Tuesday evenings at 18:30, they gather at the Coke sign and head out for seven kilometres through Botanic Gardens, past the Opera House, and around Rushcutters Bay. Nobody left behind, every pace welcome.

Kirribilli Runners started in May 2006 when Dave Holmes gathered people who wanted company on the road, not competition. Based at the foot of the Harbour Bridge in Sydney, the crew built something deliberately free and open to all paces. Around 100 runners from across the city show up twice a week, mixing locals and newcomers in an atmosphere that's warm and genuinely welcoming. Kirribilli Runners believe running is better when it brings people together rather than sorting them by speed. Mondays and Thursdays at 18:30 in Milsons Point, with the Harbour Bridge overhead and the Opera House in view, anyone can just turn up and run.
