Griffin Bike Park is a purpose-built facility catering to mountain bikers! The facility includes a full spectrum of mountain bike feature. It includes everything from easy XC style riding, pump tracks, jump lines, technical structures, and a dual slalom course.

The DINO Series race course is a 6-mile loop that contains a mix of wider, faster trail with ample passing room, with sections of moderately challenging singletrack. The singletrack sections have numerous quick ups and downs, rewarding handling skills and power.

    The Quick Quack Trail Run 5k adventure course takes runners over unique obstacles like a floating bridge (alternate route available) and ramps all while scrambling over rugged trails as they compete for prized rubber duck trophies! The family-friendly event takes place at the beautiful Griffin Bike Park in Vigo County. Registration for the Quick Quack Trail Run includes a Quick Quack shirt, custom race bib, disposable timing chip and the feeling of knowing that you are helping to create hope in our community.

    Bring all of your friends and family for a fun day of racing! Create or join a team during registration to receive rebates and discounts once you reach 4 members! (The first 3 members of a team will be refunded $5 once a 4th member has registered at the discounted price. All additional registrants will then receive the discount during registration.)

    • Due to the difficulty of the course and narrow paths strollers are not permitted.

    • This is a footrace only; no bikes are allowed in this event.

    • You must be 12+ to run this race on your own. If you are 11 or under you must register with an adult and must run the race with them.

    • Please keep all dogs at home as they will not be allowed on the racecourse for their protection.

    Participants will receive:

    1. A Quick Quack race tee*

    2. A custom race bib

    3. Disposable chip timing

    4. Giant rubber duck Overall and Age Group awards

    5. Post-race refreshments

    *You must be registered by June 12th to be guaranteed a race t-shirt

    • 6:30 a.m. - 7:30 a.m. packet pickup / race day registration at the Griffin Bike Park Stage

    • 8:00 a.m. - 5k Trail Run Start

    • 8:30 a.m. - Race refreshments available

    • 9:30 a.m. - 5k Awards Ceremony at the Griffin Bike Park Stage

    • 10:00 a.m. - Course closes

    The Mile takes place on July 4th every year. The race starts 1 mile north of the Stadium, on Brown Blvd and finishes by the Stadium grounds. Proceeds from the event fund the Lace it Up Kids Running Program of the Wabash Valley Road Runners. REGISTER BY Sunday, JUNE 28 at 11:59PM TO RECEIVE A T-SHIRT!

    Start Times:

    1st heat: Females @ 8 a.m.

    2nd heat: Males @ 8:30 a.m.

    3rd heat: Kids Running Program @ 9 a.m.

    Awards will be given; including overall awards, age group awards, and walker awards. Awards are based on 5-year age groups. The number of awards per age group will be determined based on the pre-registered numbers in each age group. Awards range from 1 to 3 per age group. There are also walker awards that are not age based. The number of walker awards will be based on the number of pre-registered walkers and will be awarded based on the first walker across the finish line and so on. IF YOU ARE SIGNED UP AS A WALKER, PLEASE DO NOT RUN! We have competitive walkers who work hard to win the race and it wouldn’t be fair for a someone to run part of the race and beat out a competitive walker who walked the complete event.

    The Twilight River Run, presented by Riddell National Bank, will be on Friday, July 24th at Fairbanks Park. This is a 1 Mile run/walk or a 5k run/walk and please note, this is a NIGHT race. Register by July 18th to guarantee a shirt. Race day registration will be available.

    Race packet pickup will be located at the YMCA from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM on July 24th.

    Each year the Twilight River Run includes a high school team event were schools can compete as a group to win money for their school running program. Each team must consist of at least four members. High school awards for both girls and boys. The four fastest times from each team will be used for the team placement. Team members are eligible for individual age group awards. The school team with the lowest cumulative time will win $250, and the second place team will win $100 for their school running program.

    The Twilight River Run also funds the WVRR Scholarship Program. Each year WVRR awards two scholarships to outstanding student athletes from the Wabash Valley. Applicants are evaluated based on their academic and athletic accomplishments as well as the contributions they make to their schools and communities.     Be part of Indiana’s ONLY Gravel Triathlon! Offering beginner-friendly distances and terrain, this course mixes the elements of a sprint triathlon, gravel cycling, and trail running! The gravel ride is relatively flat with very gentle hills. The trail run is moderate, with mostly stable surface and a few short ups and downs.

    Most of the route is wide enough for easy passing.

    For those that don’t want to swim, enter the duathlon or the kayak triathlon!

    10K Trail Run

    • This fun course is also a bonus point chance for those running the DINO Trail Run Series!
    • A Chance for up to 10 Bonus points in the series!

    o All finishers in a bonus race will receive at least 1 bonus point.
