This year SHAREHouse, the Trinity Center, and the Douglas County Solicitor's Office has partnered alongside the Douglas County District Attorney's Office and the ATIR Community for the race. The 2025 race will take place at Boundary Waters Park located in Douglasville, GA. The course is USATF-certified and an official Peachtree Road Race qualifier! Frequently Asked Questions

    • What exactly is a Color Run? It’s a "fun run" where participants are doused from head to toe in different colored powders at various points along the course. It’s less about your finish time and more about how much color you can catch!

    • Is the powder safe? Yes! The color powder is non-toxic, biodegradable, and cornstarch-based. It’s easy to wash off and safe for both humans and the environment.

    • What should I wear? White, white, and more white! The lighter your clothing, the more the colors will pop. We also recommend wearing sunglasses to keep the powder out of your eyes.

    • Can my kids participate? Absolutely! This is a family-first event. The 1-Mile Dash is stroller-friendly, though be prepared for your stroller to get a little "colorful" too.

    • How do I get my 5K medal? The 5K is held on our certified course. We will be tracking times, and medals will be awarded at the podium for overall male/female winners and specific age brackets shortly after the race concludes.

    • What if I'm not a runner? No problem! Walkers, joggers, and dancers are all welcome. The goal is to have fun and get active.
