This groovy little event takes place at Camp Spearhead, a magical sanctuary that gives kids and adults with disabilities a chance to play, grow, and feel the love all year long. We're talkin’ horseback rides, crafts, new friendships, and all the smiles the world can handle. By running this race, you’re not just chasing miles—you’re sharing light and giving back to a beautiful community. Far out, right?

🌼 The Course, Man

Our loop is a 10K trail groove with around 650 feet of sweet, rolling elevation per lap. It’s got flow, it’s got rhythm, and it’s got over 90% shade so your chakras stay cool. Directional arrows will guide your path like the universe intended—but if you wander, no worries. Just trace your steps back to your moment of confusion and get back in your groove.

šŸŖ Aid Station Goodies šŸ¬

You’ll find one stellar aid station at the main shelter every loop.

  • Pickles (for your pickle-loving heart)

  • Cookies and chips (because why not?)

  • Candy, fig newtons, and pretzels (a snackin’ symphony)

  • Hydration? Oh yeah – water, Coke, and a splash of ginger ale

  • šŸ›‘ Cup-less, dude! Bring your own hydration vessel. Let’s keep Mother Earth happy.

Got a homemade treat or a favorite snack? Share the love! We’re all about community-powered aid stations here. ✊

šŸ’š More Than a Race

This isn’t just a trail run—it’s a celebration of movement, inclusion, and the natural magic of Greenville County. Bring a friend, feel the earth beneath your feet, and soak up the good vibes. Donations from this righteous gathering go straight to Camp Spearhead, helping keep the joy flowing all year long. So come run with us, connect with nature, and leave a little piece of your soul on the trail. Peace, love, and trail shoes, baby.

The Tunnel to Towers Run & Walk Series was created to honor the heroic life and death of Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter (FDNY) who lost his life on September 11, 2001 after strapping on his gear and running through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers. Honor all of those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001 and support our first responders and military who make extraordinary sacrifices in the line of duty! For more information on the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, please visit t2t.org.

The United Community Reedy River Run 10K is one of the oldest road races in the south and will be celebrating its 48th running on April 18, 2026. With the start on Greenville's famous Main Street, you will take a tour of downtown and beautiful Cleveland, Cancer Survivors and Falls Parks. The 10K course crosses the namesake Reedy River six times and both the 10K and 5K races will have a downhill finish on Falls Drive near the United Community headquarters.

The 10K race is the 2026 Road Runners Club of America South Carolina State Championship and was previously the 2017 and 2021 RRCA South Carolina State 10K Championship and the 2019 RRCA Southern Region 10K Championship.

There is also a 5K run which starts on S. Main St and uses the same finish line as the 10K on Falls Street.

Our 10K will be limited to 1,500 participants and the 5K to 1000 participants. The 10K will once again have staggered "wave" starts to manage the flow and congestion after the start. The starting waves will be determined by the participant's Estimated Finishing Time.

    START Times for 10K:

    WAVE A @ 7:15 am

    WAVE B @ 7:16 am

    WAVE C @ 7:17 am

    WAVE D @ 7:18 am

    WAVE E @ 7:19 am

So, please enter your EFT during the registration process. The 10K will once again have commemorative Finishers medals and Age Group awards.

The 5K is our less competitive run, but may also have starting waves to help spread out the field and will not have Finisher medals or Age Group awards.

    START Time for 5K - 8:00 am

Please be advised, due to the very early start times there will NOT be race day packet pickup. You may have someone pick up your race packet for you (please provide your approval to the person picking up for you by text to their phone to be presented).
