Get ready to lace up your running shoes and join us on Sunday, April 11, 2025. Join us in Medfield at McCarthy Park & Fields for a course that winds through tree-lined streets, past rolling fields, and along serene nature trails, offering a mix of paved roads and well-maintained paths. Runners will experience gentle hills and open stretches that showcase the town’s beauty, making for a dynamic and enjoyable race experience. Participants of all abilities - from seasoned runners to casual walkers - can enjoy a fun day out. Fun for the youngest among us starts at 9 am with a Fun Run for ages 4 - 10. Sign up before March 11th and get a complimentary race shirt.

Our event is more than just a race. Every step taken on race day contributes to the journey of a family transitioning out of homelessness, with 10% of the funds raised supporting the Soles of Medfield Scholarship Fund.

Not a runner? No worries! Join us anyway and soak in the vibrant atmosphere and energy of the day. Whether you are hitting the trails or cheering from the sidelines, this event promises something special for everyone.

The 5k course is along the Medfield Rail Trail. The 10k course starts on the Medfield Rail Trail then heads onto the roads of Medfield and returns back to the Rail Trail. Course maps can be found below.

    About Bailey’s Team for Autism...

Bailey's Team for Autism is a regional non-profit organization raising funds and awareness in support of individuals living with autism spectrum disorders and their families. Founded in 2001 and incorporated in 2008, we have raised over $1.3 million contributing over 90% of all funds raised with a focus on programming, education, and research. We have supported projects nationwide, but our concentration is in New England - more specifically, Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

    About the Run...

Our 5k is a professionally measured and USATF Certified fast, flat course and encourages good race time! It starts and finishes on Payson Road will continue left onto Chestnut Street then onto Mechanic Street and up Baker returning to Chestnut and Payson Road back at the start.

    About the Walk...

The WALK route is 1 mile from the run start on Payson Road. Participation is FREE but registration is required (there is a fee if you want an event t-shirt - please see below)! You may register on site where ALL walkers will be required to sign a waiver (adults must sign on behalf of their child). We do not encourage walkers to follow the 5k run route as we will not have all safety precautions and police officers stationed for more than one hour along the route. Also, we will be well into our after-party at Conrads, as a result, we encourage you to "run the run," or “walk the [1 mile] walk."

    Who gets a T-Shirt?

T-Shirts are FREE and guaranteed to the first 200 registered RUNNERS

We encourage you to help support Bailey's Team for Autism by fundraising and this site makes it very easy!

PIONEERS Run Crew is a transformative and influential running community that has been reshaping the Boston running scene since its founding in April 2017. Established by Sidney Baptista, the crew was created to directly address the lack of diversity in the city's running culture by building a welcoming and inclusive hub in the Dorchester neighborhood. With a "no runner left behind" policy, a community of over 500 members, and a powerful lineup of their own signature races like the 26.TRUE Marathon, PIONEERS is a true lifestyle and a force for positive change.
