Get ready to fly down one of the most beautiful stretches in Massachusetts — the Moose Hill Parkway in Sharon. The Moose Hill Mile is a point-to-point downhill road mile that combines breathtaking scenery with pure speed.
Starting near the summit of Moose Hill, runners will descend a smooth, shaded road lined with tall pines and sweeping views, finishing near the base of the parkway. For more than 50 years, the Arnold Mills 4M Road Race has been a staple event in Cumberland, RI. Held every Fourth of July holiday, the popular four-mile race draws an average of 500 participants each and every year to the starting line, including some top talent from throughout the state and often from beyond the borders. The race, which is run on a moderately-challenging course in a rural community, takes part in conjunction with the town's annual parade. In years past, U.S. Olympians Matt Centrowitz Sr. and Pete Pfitzinger, triathlon legend Karen Smyers, and RI marathon icon Bobby Doyle have made their marks at Arnold Mills. ONLINE REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE THURSDAY JULY 3 AT 6PM. ON-SITE REGISTRATION WILL BE ALSO BE AVAILABLE.
The race will begin promptly at 9 a.m. The race starts and finishes near the Cumberland Fire Department - Station 5, 50 Arnold Mills Road, Cumberland, RI. There will be a packet pickup (Bib number, T-shirt) on July 3 from 4-6 p.m.at The Lodge at Diamond Hill, 4097 Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland, RI. Race day registration as well as packet pickup for pre-registered participants will take place from 7:30-8:45 a.m., at the Cumberland Fire Department.
We are expecting over 700 runners at this year's race, so please plan your time accordingly. Please arrive early as parking will be limited.
PARKING. There will be parking at the Community School, 15 Arnold Mills Road, and Quaker Road, both just a short distance from the race's start and finish line.

Road Race is competitive and is kept on a timely pace. No prolonged stopping will be permitted unless in case of emergency.
Advance registration will end July 2 at 8am.
For those pre-registered, you can begin to pickup your bib and T-shirt 3:45pm on July 4 at Norwood Town Common, adjacent to 566 Washington Street. Race begins promptly at 5pm.
On-site registration begins 3:30pm July 4. Look for the marked tent on the Norwood Town Common.

Cabo Verdean 5K Mission Statement
The Cabo Verdean 5K was founded to support, uplift, and provide resources to individuals with breast cancer, their caregivers, families, and communities across Cabo Verde Islands.
Our goal is to provide medical assistance, donations, equipment and increase awareness, reduce stigma associated with breast cancer; through education, promoting healthy living, early detection, and annual screening.
Our vision is to close the gap in breast cancer care In Cabo Verde Island and open facilities in each Island for breast cancer treatment.
