Join us for Bold Hope’s Run for Hope 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk! This fast and flat course is wheelchair and stroller friendly! Families and kids are welcome! All proceeds benefit Bold Hope, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in Doylestown, PA. Bold Hope serves with partners around the world and in Pennsylvania’s Bucks and Montgomery counties.

WHO: Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities! This event is wheelchair and stroller friendly!

WHAT: The Run for Hope is a fundraiser benefiting Bold Hope’s programs and initiatives around the world and in Pennsylvania’s Bucks and Montgomery counties.

WHERE: Peace Valley Park (Sailor’s Point), 759 New Galena Road, Chalfont, PA 18914

*Enter the park at the entrance off of Callowhill Road, turn onto New Galena Road. Follow New Galena Road until you see the sign for Sailor’s Point at Myers Road. Turn right into Sailor’s Point parking area.

7:15AM - Bib pick-up and same-day registration begins

8:00AM - 5K Run/Walk Begins

8:05AM - 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk Begins

Refreshments and fun after the race!

Finish line and timing services will be provided by Pretzel City Sports. Race results will be posted on www.pretzelcitysports.com.

REGISTRATION: All participants must register online on RunSignUp or at www.BoldHope.org/events/5K. *Each participant who registers before May 9th will receive a t-shirt.

Registration fee: 5K - $40, 1 Mile Fun Run - $15

Race Day registration will be available starting at 7:15am on race day.

AWARDS: Awards will be given to first overall male and female finishers as well as 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers for the following age groups: 14 & Under, 15-24, 25-34, 35-44, 45-54, 55-64, 65-74, 75+

    Who We Are: Healthy Kids Running Series is a five (5) week running program in the spring and fall for kids Pre-K through 8th grade. Each HKRS Series takes place once a week and offers age-appropriate running events including the 50 & 75 yard dashes, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the 1 mile run. Kids will earn points for each race they complete based on their finish.

    Pricing: The registration fee covers the entire five (5) weeks of the Series which includes race bibs for each week, a runner shirt, a finisher medal and any sponsor giveaways. Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable. Online Early Bird registration increases three weeks prior to the first race event.

    Challenger: This Series offers a Challenger Division which is an adaptive 75 yard race for children with disabilities and/or special needs. This allows for parents, siblings, and friends to be on the course with runners to provide support as well as bringing their own supportive devices such as crutches, braces, wheelchairs, etc. to be used by runners.

    Makeup Date Information: 5/17/2026

    Single Day Racing: Single day race registration opens one hour prior to the start of each race. The registration fee covers one single race to be run on the day of registration. ALL single day registrations should be completed onsite at the race location. Single day racers will have the option to upgrade to the full series (see tab on the left side of the page for instructions). There is a strict no-refund and no-transfer policy.

    Awards: All participants receive a medal on Week 5! Trophies will be awarded to the overall top finishers in each of the divisions listed below (broken out by boys and girls respectively):

    This program is designed to help your child be ready and complete the North Penn IronKnights Triathlon. PLEASE NOTE ALL PARTICPANTS MUST BE NORTH PENN SCHOOL DISTRICT STUDENTS, YOUR CHILD MUST BE ATTENDING A NORTH PENN SCHOOL. Also note this program does not include the race. It is for the training program only.

    This program is designed to help prepare your child for the biking and running portion of the race. It is not designed to help your child win. It is a skills based training program that helps kids become more comfortable on the bike and build endurance for running. This program does not include swimming.

    There will be swim practices that will be held at the high school to help your child prepare for the swim, those are under the direction of the North Penn School District and information will be communicated from them.

    Sessions will run from 6:15 PM to 7:15 PM. The first four sessions are planned as bike/run sessions. On the final evening, we will do a transition clinic with set-up and race practice.

    You are responsible for bringing your child's bike, bike helmet, sneakers, and a water bottle. Please note that bikes must be in working condition and the tires pumped prior to class arrival.

    We will do our best to hold each session. Please understand if there is inclement weather, we reserve the right to cancel the session and there may not be a make-up class.

    THIS IS A TRAINING PROGRAM IT IS NOT THE RACE REGISTRATION, IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE YOU MUST BE REGISTERED FOR THE RACE

    The 5 Miler, 5k & Duathlon will each be timed and awards will be given out.

    The 2 Mile Fun Run/Walk & Kids Only 3k are both not timed.

    Overall presented to TOP THREE winners (male & female) in the 5 Miler, 5k & Duathlon as well as top three males & females in each age category:

    AGE GROUPS: 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 & over. No mailing of awards or shirts.

    You MUST pick up your award before you leave. If you do not, we cannot hold/store awards and it will likely be given to a race day entry or someone else.

    Note: If you are registered for this race and you registered in time to choose a shirt BUT you are unable to run for whatever reason, you will NEED TO CONTACT us BEFORE RACE DAY and let us know if you'd like us to hold on to your reserved shirt for you to pick up at a future Scoogie Event. If you do not do this, we cannot hold your shirt and it will be given to someone that registered after the deadline. (We cannot mail shirts)

    Packet Pick details will be emailed 5 days before this event.

    Runners may pick up their packets on race morning but it is advised that they pick them up at packet pick up the day before to avoid lines on race day.

    If you have any questions, please feel free to email the good folks at Scoogie Events and they will respond promptly.

    IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING WEATHER:

    This event is a rain/shine event.

    This means that if it rains, this event IS A GO...”skin is waterproof😀”

    In the event that we experience any weather that would cause the course to be unsafe, we will cancel the event.

    There will be no refunds due to the fact that at this point all of the expenses for a race of this magnitude have been paid for.

    Your swag (medal & t-shirt) will be able to be picked-up at yet to be determined SWAG pick up.

    It’s important to understand that IF we need to cancel this event due to extreme weather, we will not issue any refunds and we will not reschedule the event this year.

    NOTE: We do not issue any refunds, transfers or credits for any reason.

    We have the right to revise or cancel the race due to emergency or weather issue....(but we really hope this doesn't happen:-)
