    Kick off your Labor Day with the Cedar Fest 5K!

    Run, walk, or cheer your way down historic Main Street and onto the scenic Greene County Parks bike path—a great way to start your morning in Cedarville.

    Proceeds go straight back into our small town!

    Your participation supports Revitalize Cedarville, a nonprofit dedicated to making our village a more welcoming and enjoyable place—for everyone who comes here, whether it’s for a day or a lifetime.

    Prizes awarded for Top Overall Finishers!

    Overall male and female winners receive trophies. Age group winners receive medals.

    After the race, head over to the fire station for pancakes, then make your way back to Main Street for shopping, food trucks, and more starting at 10am. Then, the Cedar Fest parade rolls through at 1pm. The 5k is just one of the activities happening throughout the village this weekend!

    Race begins at Chillicothe St. and Main St.

    Register by August 20 to get a race t-shirt.

    Join us for a fun, fast-paced, and family-friendly orienteering adventure set in the beautiful woods of John Bryan State Park and Camp Birch. Whether you’re brand new to orienteering or a seasoned navigator, runner, hiker, or explorer—this event is for you!

    🧭 What Is Orienteering?

    Orienteering is an outdoor navigation sport where participants use a detailed map and compass to locate checkpoints across varied terrain. It blends strategy, speed, problem-solving, and exploration—a real-world treasure hunt for all ages.

    You’ll have up to two hours to complete the course that fits your skill level:

    White – Beginner

    Yellow – Novice

    Orange – Advanced

    Green / Red – Elite

    We provide everything you need to succeed:

    RACE START: 8:30 a.m.

    PARKING: John Bryan State Park (Use this address: 3790 State Route 370, Yellow Springs, OH)

    TIMING CUTOFFS: This trail race is a friendly race with generous cut-offs. You will have 4.5 hours to complete the distance. You must reach the final aid station by 3.5 hours (12 PM).

    REGISTRATION: Registration is available to all through RunSignup prior to the race. Online registration remains open until approximately 15 minutes before race start and can be done in-person at the race. Hard copy registration sheets are also available on race day if needed. Minors may be registered on RunSignup by a parent or guardian or in-person with a parent or guardian present to sign the waiver.

    CHECK-IN: All participants must check-in before the race and attach their assigned timing chip to one of their shoes. Look for the table with the green tablecloth to get your chip.

    We recommend you arrive at least one hour before the race to park, check in, and warm-up prior to the race start.

    FEES:

    All Current ORRRC Members Run for Free (Fee waived automatically when your RSU membership profile is used, or bring your card/proof of membership to the event)

    Non-Members:

    – $10 for ages 15 and up

    – Free for ages 14 and under

    Members, if you don't register through RunSignup, you absolutely MUST show proof of membership on race day to be eligible for the member fees! No exceptions!

    AWARDS: Runners who cross the finish line before the cutoff time will receive a commemorative finisher award.

    ANIMAL POLICY: Due to our insurance coverage, animals are not permitted at any ORRRC event. The only exception is service dogs, which must be clearly identified. Persons with any other animals will be removed from the event (will not be issued a timing chip, and will not appear in results or photos). We thank you in advance for your cooperation!
