Join us on September 26 for the HOW Strong 5K, a race for runners and walkers of all ages, held at Dreher Park South in West Palm Beach, Florida.

The event features a scenic 5K (3.1-mile) course winding through Dreher Park. Proceeds benefit Hearing the Ovarian Cancer Whisper (H.O.W.), an organization dedicated to empowering women through education, advocacy, and research to support early detection and improved outcomes for ovarian cancer.

After the race, participants are invited to enjoy a post-run snack and awards ceremony.

• All registered runners will receive a men’s or women’s event shirt.

• All finishers will receive a finisher medal.

• Age-group awards will be presented.

• Chip timing by AccuChip.

The 28th Annual Bill Bone Tropical Triathlon is a USAT Sanctioned sprint triathlon/duathlon/aquabike race that will take place on October 18, 2025. the event consists of a .25 mile swim (or a one mile run for duathlon), a 13 mile bike and a 5k run (no run for aquabike) on the most beautiful course in Palm Beach County. Race route includes spectacular ocean vistas, a bike course that includes a bridge challenge along with a fun downtown loop in the fast 13 mile course. Finish with a run that includes a view of the Snook Island preserve and an Intracoastal path as you sail through Bryant Park and Historic neighborhoods.

Get ready to channel your inner warrior at the 5th Annual Rising Sun 5K, taking place on February 28, 2027, at the beautiful John Prince Park in Lake Worth, Florida. Hosted by the Kickstart Foundation, this unique event is more than just a race; it is a celebration of discipline and community. The Kickstart Foundation is a dedicated non-profit organization focused on empowering at-risk and underprivileged youth through the art of martial arts. By teaching core principles such as respect, focus, and perseverance, the foundation provides children with the essential life skills and self-esteem needed to succeed in school and beyond.

​The event draws its inspiration from the Rising Sun, a powerful symbol often featured on flags and in traditional art to represent success, vitality, and the auspicious start of a new day. In the context of this 5K, it embodies the "rising" potential of every child the foundation serves. To truly bring this spirit to life, the race kicks off with an energizing karate-style warm-up. The excitement reaches its peak at the finish line, where every participant will have the exhilarating opportunity to break a board as they cross, symbolizing the personal obstacles they’ve overcome.
