Participants are encouraged to create a fundraising page or team to raise awareness and support for Empty Arms’ work. Thanks to the generosity of individual donors, team fundraisers, and business sponsors, the Stampede raises nearly 50% of the annual budget needed to serve bereaved families across Massachusetts, all year long.

    Please understand that by signing up for a charity bib, you are making a serious commitment to raise the amount you agreed to. If you are not able to meet the minimum fundraising amount by the week of the race, you will be charged for the cost of a regular bib at that time.

This 5k Trail Run or Walk and Mushroom Mile (great for children and grown-ups alike!) is held on the trails of our campus and open to the public. Proceeds support The Hartsbrook School's unique programming including Land Stewardship, which integrates animal husbandry, climate education, sustainable agriculture and beekeeping practices across the curriculum grades 1-12.
