This year, the race will be a GLOW run/walk! Walkers will have a start time of 8:00 PM, and the runners will follow with a start time of 8:15 PM.

Registration on the day of the event will open at 7:30 pm. Free T-shirt with registry only until June 6th.

Packet pickup will be held on race day from 7:00 pm to the start of the race.

Can’t make it to the walk/run, but want to help out? Sponsor a dog in the shelter to get to go for a walk/run during the event! Go to the donate button at the top of the page to donate. You can also purchase a luminary in honor of, or in memory of, a special pet or a person. The luminaries will have the pet or person's name on them, and they will light the finish line of the course. To purchase a luminary for $10, please click on the "donate" button at the top of the page.

trails - the Purple and Red trails at Historic Beatty Park. It will include dirt trails in wooded areas with small bridges, a creek crossing, as well as a few small natural obstacles. The race will include up hill areas and a short loop in the adjacent historical Union Cemetery.

Race day registration starts at 7:30 am.

Awards will be given to the top finisher in each age group in the run and walk:

30 - 39

40 - 49

50 - 59

60 +

Tot Trot participants will receive a medal.

Last day to register and guarantee a t-shirt is May 31st.

The Kids Fun Run will begin at approximately 6:30pm. Different age categories will run in separate races.

The 5K Run & 2-Mile Walk begin at 7:00pm.

The 5K & 2-Mile is professionally chip-timed by GCXC Racing - Youngstown.

race food and tons of door prizes !! We are anticipating this will be the largest race ever for Rise N Shine 5K so you will definitely want to preregister for this event if you can.

WHERE: Start and finish will be at the Big Red Barn at Grand Vue Park.

WHEN: Race day registration opens at 7:30 am. Both the 5K Run & 5K Walk start at 9:00 am.

COURSE: Same course as in 2025. Course map will be posted at a later date.

T-SHIRT DEADLINE: The last day to guarantee a T-Shirt / preferred size is end of day, Saturday, August 30th. Extra shirts will be ordered, but neither shirt nor size will be guaranteed if you register beyond 8/30.
