We Run Uptown (WRU) is a transformative running movement that has been leading the running culture in Upper Manhattan, New York City, since July 2013. Born from a moment of heartbreak, the crew has grown into a collective of athletes who bring a "raw, unfiltered energy" to every run. Their vision is to embody the culture and people of their community in every mile they run. They are famous for "owning Monday nights" with an all-weather social run, and have expanded to include track nights and Saturday long runs, welcoming all paces to join their journey.

New York, New York, United StatesThe Boogie Down Bronx Runners are a vibrant and inspiring collective founded on May 30, 2017, with a powerful mission to bring a community-focused running culture to their home borough. Established by founders Lenny and Jean Paul, the crew was created to fill a void and promote wellness and engagement for people of all abilities. From a first run of just three people, they have grown into a major force in the New York City running scene, embodying their motto, "All for our borough!" with every stride they take.

Community Run
New York, New York, United StatesWEPA is an inspiring and motivating running movement that was founded in New York City in the summer of 2016. Their name is a powerful double entendre: it is an acronym for their core values—Work-Excel-Persevere-Achieve—and "¡Wepa!" is a popular Hispanic cultural exclamation of joy and excitement. The crew was created to inspire those intimidated by running and to help people run their very first mile. They have since cultivated a supportive "family atmosphere" where members hold each other accountable and celebrate every milestone along the way.
Run
New York, New York, United StatesFounded in January 2018 by Ryo, Dao-Yi, and Eugene, Old Man Run Club in New York City began as a lighthearted joke about feeling old while running but quickly blossomed into a welcoming community of around 50 members. Emphasizing long-distance runs every Saturday—ranging from 9 to 22 miles at a conversational pace—the club fosters inclusivity across all paces, ages, and genders, with more female than male runners. Meeting at Urban Studios, members share camaraderie that extends beyond running, exploring iconic city routes along the Hudson River, Central Park, and landmarks like the Brooklyn Bridge. Rooted in the spirit of the NYC Marathon, the club provides a supportive environment for building endurance and confidence while celebrating the vibrant energy and diverse neighborhoods of New York. Without formal membership or fees, Old Man Run Club invites anyone eager to embrace the challenge of long runs and genuine connection in the city’s dynamic running scene.
