The Mile Ultimatum

Join us for our FOURTH annual “Keyed Up 5k” walk/run on FRIDAY, April 24th, at 8pm, sponsored by the Vocal Patrons Association at GlenOak High School!

Our 5k is a relaxed evening event and walkers, joggers, and runners of all ages and abilities are welcome to join us! The 2026 edition features a return of last year’s popular "GLOW MODE", powered by neon, loud colors, and your own energy and style as you run, walk, or crawl along the course starting and ending at GlenOak stadium.

Back this year is the "fun run" for kids 12 and under who aren't ready to walk or run through the 5k!

This year we are moving away from timing all runners, and focusing on moving, music, and celebrating our choral arts programs together. The top 3 men and top 3 women runners will have recorded times and receive trophies, and all other participants will note their own times as they cross the finish line and join the celebration!

Vocal Patrons Association raises funds to support the vocal arts programs at GlenOak, and 100% of money raised goes to provide direct financial support for the choral programs throughout Plain Local Schools. We hope you will join us as we move in harmony together!

Rotary Club of Canal Fulton's 18th Annual Mother of All Races 10K Run & 5K Run/Walk! - all will start and end at Northwest High School (8580 Erie Ave N, Canal Fulton, OH 44614) at 8:00 AM.

Races are routed through the picturesque, historic and natural beauty of downtown Canal Fulton, OH and along the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath. See below links for course certifications.

Organization:

This year the Rotary Club of Canal Fulton is celebrating its 99th year of living out the motto of "Service Above Self". It is during seasons of difficulty and uncertainty that civic clubs like Rotary are essential to come alongside those in need of a helping hand. To help support those in need as well as other community programs, we will again host our major fundraising event the Mother of All Races, a 5K and 10K race to be held on May 10, 2024, the Saturday before Mother's Day.

Over 90 percent of our Rotary's funding is distributed each year to those individuals in need, throughout our community.

Our primary source of revenue for these and other programs stems from the Mother of All Races 5k and 10k race. Donations can also be given donation link above, donations can also be made through the registration process.

Join us for an unforgettable adventure that starts on Nimishillen Creek and ends at Gervasi Vineyard! Start at Martindale Park with a 1.5-mile kayak trip to the Middlebranch Trailhead at Spangler Ave, NE. Once you’re ashore, continue the excitement with a 2.5-mile run or walk to Gervasi Vineyard. Cap off the race with a pour of wine or a strawberry sage lemonade at the finish line and celebrate the day by enjoying the beautiful grounds of Gervasi Vineyard. Don’t miss this unique race experience combining nature, fitness, and fun! *Perfect for all experience levels.

Join us in making a difference! The proceeds from this charitable race will support Cleveland Clinic Mercy Mission Outreach Food Insecurity Program. Your contributions will help fund our biweekly outreach efforts, where prepared meals and vital health information are distributed to neighborhoods in need throughout Canton. Together, we can provide food and hope to the homeless, children, and individuals facing food insecurity. Every step you take helps us nourish our community and promote healthier lives for those in need.

The Bulldog Color Run at Green Middle School is a high‑energy, family‑friendly celebration of school spirit, fitness, and fun. Students, families, staff, and community members come together for a vibrant run (or walk!) through a course filled with bursts of bright, eco‑friendly color powder. Whether participants sprint, jog, or stroll, everyone crosses the finish line covered in color and full of Bulldog pride. This event isn’t about speed—it’s about community, movement, and memorable moments. Along the route, volunteers cheer runners on while color stations add excitement at every turn.

The Bulldog Color Run supports Green Middle School PTSA programs and encourages students to stay active while having a blast with friends and family.

Every participant will receive a shirt, medal, bag, sunglasses, bandana and individual color packet to start off the race with a burst of color!
